It does get hot enough to make a crispy exterior while keeping the middle fluffy. If the durability is as good as the product performance I'll be happy with this purchase for a long time. Bought this on a "Deal of the Day" and it was worth every penny.

Sometimes hard to remove the waffle

The issue is I find it difficult to remove the waffles when they are done. They stick more often than not. I have to use a plastic spatula to kind of loosen the edges, then it comes out. Just a bit of a hassle, but not so bad that don’t use it. I do. It makes a nice waffle.

Spray with nonstick oil lightly and set the dial to 3 to get crispy outside with soft fluffy inside waffles. Using waffle mix works too if you don’t use scratch.

Follow the instructions and this is the perfect machine. All the adjustablility is what trully makes this great. My only down side is wishing it had a changable plate to make thin waffles too

It makes waffles quickly and let's you know when it is ready. I would highly recommend, especially if you have a family. It is faster as you can cook two at a time and you can just turn the knob to make it cook quicker.

Works Well - Annoying Beeps

The only downside is the timer beeps when the waffles are done cooking. It's loud and sounds like a fire alarm beep. Each time a waffle finishes cooking you'll hear 5-6 loud beeps.
