Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the ease of use and high-quality waffles produced by the Rotating Ceramic Belgian Waffle Maker. Many appreciate its affordable price and quick heating time, along with the non-stick surface for easy food release. While some find cleaning slightly challenging and the ready light inconsistent, the positive feedback on waffle quality and ease of use outweighs these minor drawbacks.

The first Bella waffle maker I bought was supposed to be new, but it looked like it was used before. So check what condition you receive it. I returned it and the next one I got was in perfect condition. This waffle maker is an amazing value for the price. It has temperature control and ceramic plates and it rotates, so you always get perfectly formed waffles cooked evenly on both sides and fluffy inside. It has green light indicator on both sides, so you know when your waffle is ready (although it has no sound alarm). Read the manual before using it - to get brown waffles, you are supposed to wait at least 30 sec after the green light turns off. In the summary - it is a really good stainless steel rotating waffle maker with ceramic plates and a lock mechanism which keeps the iron from rotating when in open position, although the details of finish are not so good: the handle is wobbly and not too smooth to rotate, but these are not crucial elements and you can get used to it.

I had a taste for homemade waffles one day and decided to buy it for myself. The unit heats quickly and evenly. Both sides of the waffle came out crispy while still being fluffy inside. The handle seems a little wobbly though. But if you're careful with it, it should hold up. The manufacturer recommends using butter to "grease" the top and bottom plates instead of cooking spray. I had to use a basting brush to make sure the plates were well buttered which I found a little inconvenient. They claim cooking spray gets gummy over time and hard to clean. That aside, I still feel it's a good deal.

I was so excited to get this in the mail! It is very easy to use, and is quick to heat up. Very important to always remember to follow instructions and oil down the plates before every day you use it. This makes a big difference in a successful waffle adventure. I love the rotating feature, it really does help the waffle mix spread evenly over the grates for perfect waffles every time. I also love that you can adjust the doneness from light to dark like a toaster. That's a neat feature I have never had on any other waffle iron.

I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised by this item. I had been kind of craving a Belgian waffle maker, since I DO love Belgian waffles. On the other hand, I didn't even know the difference between a Belgian waffle and a regular one until I looked it up. So, point being, I didn't want to invest much money in a maker. I saw this one on Best Buy on sale, and the price was just too good to pass up. I tried it out and did breakfast-for-dinner for myself and the kids the night I bought it, and it works great. We all loved it. It might good a bit slower than more expensive ones, but still cooks quickly once it heats up. Great product for the price, and I recommend it.

Not hotel grade, but good for the price

Just don't expect waffles like you made at the last hotel. They will not be as crispy on the outside - hence the 4 stars instead of 5. (I love those waffles!) . However, unlike those heavy commercial duty monsters, this waffle maker is very light weight and stores easily (stands up on edge with a slot in frame to hold the spill catcher). Find a good Belgium waffle mix (or make your own) and get started quickly. It's not hotel grade, but the ceramic grid makes it much lighter, heats incredibly fast, and waffles are less likely to stick, regardless of what you add to them. I sauté chopped pecans in butter, brown sugar, and a touch of cinnamon and add to the batter. 1/2 cup of batter for 5 minutes later they are done with no drips or sticking. Most do not make it to the warming plate in the oven.

I've been looking at rotating waffle makers for a while now and finally decided to buy one before christmas that was on sale at another store. After taking that one out of the box it was so cheaply made and flimsy that I felt it would break after the first round of waffles. I returned it. Then after christmas I saw this as a Deal of the Day and based upon the better review decided to purchase. I'm so glad I did! Much higher quality and for a better price! I've made waffles a few times now and it works great.

The waffle maker is easy to use and is small, so it does not take too much storage room in my sons' apartment. It is also easy to clean and makes tasty waffles.

Waffle maker was so easy to use and clean. It heats up super fast. Other reviews complained about it not browning the waffles enough I found that wasn't true I've had absolutely no problem with it. You only need to use a little bit of oil in the beginning you don't have to keep applying it maybe that's why others were having problems. All I know is I love it!! Don't hesitate buy it now. For the money you spend it's worth it

I spent a lot of time reading reviews of various models of waffle makers. This unit was 3rd on my list until it popped up on the Deal of the Day. Waffles come out perfect if you pay attention. I lightly oil the grids with a saturated paper towel before each use. No problems with sticking and cleanup is easy even when I mix fresh blueberries into the batter. The catch tray gathers up some of the crumbs and spills but it could be a bit wider. No beeper so you have watch the ready light. Waffles come out golden brown and they cook all the way through if you follow the directions. This is an excellent value.

To be fair, I like this product. It's easy and straightforward to use once you start using it. However, my problem with this unit is with regards to cleaning since the parts are not that modular so if you have to for example run it through hot water (as the initial instructions were to wash all parts), there's a chance that it may break apart as it happened to me. The handle got mis-aligned so I have to carefully study how the rotating mechanism works to put it back. I would say it's not that easy and I got the side of my fingers scatched in the process when the handle snap back while holding the pieces in place. So my only option now for cleaning is most likely to wipe it with a moist cloth.

I love the ease of clean up and the tray that sits under the iron. This waffle iron cooks evenly and gets nice and hot. Love it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes the ready light doesn't show when the waffle is just right.

Simple and easy to use. It is not a fancy waffle maker but gets the job done. It's nice that it's non stick so the waffle comes out pretty easy. I am not a chef and just needed something easy to use to make waffles.

I initially got this because our prior waffle iron was sticking to the waffles. It had a nice ceramic nonstick surface, which is easy to clean. I love how compact it folds up, to take less space in the cabinet. It has a light on it to let you know when the waffles are ready. My only disappointment was that it does not also have a beep to remind you to look at the unit. Other than that, it's a fine waffle maker. One last thing, be sure to look in the instructions as there is a very tasty scratch waffle recipe. No need to get a store-bought mix. Just some flour, baking soda, sugar, eggs, and oil. You'll be all set. This works fine with store-bought mixes, as well. With the recipe inside, it's not worth the price, though.

My wife has been wanting a dedicated waffle maker so we could give our George Forman a break. This is the perfect size to leave out on weekends and put up when not in use. It's easy to use, gives great results and is overall a quality waffle maker for light to medium use. Of course, it's not built like an industrial/hotel make, but it isn't suppose to be. Be gentle with the handle and you'll get years of great service.

I'm looking for tall, thin, crispy waffles like I get at IHOP. My old waffle maker (which also has a non-stick surface, but not ceramic) makes crispier waffles from the recipe that I have used for years. The Bella waffles are taller, but not crispy. (My daughter, however, reports that the Bella waffle iron makes very crispy waffles using her recipe.) That is the only reason I gave this waffle iron only 4 stars. Otherwise, it is a great appliance! I love the included drip tray. It makes cleanup much easier.

One day I log on Best Buy website and I see this waffles maker on sale for the price that I can't ignore it, so decide to give a try as I am looking for one to make a breakfast for my kids. Turn out it is not a bad decision at all. Here are the pro and con: Pro: - A great waffle maker at a great price that won't break your bank. - It is a really good stainless steel rotating waffle maker with ceramic plates and a lock mechanism which keeps the iron from rotating when in open position. - It has three choices of cooking: Low (comes out with light brown waffles), Medium (comes out with crispy waffles), and Dark (comes out with good dark crispy waffles) - It is ridiculously fast and waffles come out perfect as any of your choice. - There is also the light to tell you when your waffles is ready. Con: - Its handle is not that good smooth to rotate, but these are not crucial, you can get used to it in not time. - A little sticky at first couple uses then getting better and smoother just like other expensive waffle makers out there in the market.
