How I first heard about it. When I first learned that this motion picture was coming,I have to say that after seeing Wolf Children,and Summer Wars,this movie would be worth watching. Seeing it in the theater: When I first watched it in the theater, it was truly worth seeing it, I only watched it in Japanese, and I really enjoyed the entire movie, it was kind of like Beauty and the Beast, but in a virtual world. DVD and Blu-Ray release: When I learned that GKIDS was going to release the movie,I had to get to get this move,and I enjoyed watching it in English after buying it at Best Buy. Characters,and the meaning of the movie: My favorite characters would be Belle and the Dragon. But what this movie shows us is that we must overcome so many challenges even if we are shy and not having the same interests as others do,feeling sad when we lose someone,and protecting someone who is in danger, and being there for one another. And trying to be someone to gain popularity. It's very important to overcome all the challenges. But however, this motion picture proves all of that, and you're really gonna love it. You'll see what I mean.

Very good movie for anime fans, well worth watching

I love this movie! I’m not a musical fan, by any stretch of the imagination, but I love the songs in this too! Why? Because, in addition to being great songs, sung well, in Japanese and English, it actually works along with the plot, unironically, instead of interrupting it! I didn’t think that was even possible! Some people complain about the plot… I’ll admit, some suspension of disbelief is required at times, but as a whole it is way worth it! I haven’t looked forward to a home video release this much since Your Name! PS Where’s my CD version of the soundtrack?! Come on, put these songs on CD!

Love this film. Was happy it was finally released for home video. Wish there was a 4K option for USA but this Blu-ray has a solid picture and sound for my setup

One of the best movies I've seen. Using her virtual world caricature to have someone who needed is a key element in the story for me.

Belle is definitely a great movie. Think of it as of Beauty and the Beast meets Summer Wars. Amazing animation and music.

I was able to pick it up day one and they had plenty of copies available. This is a very well made anime film. This is a must watch for anime fans.
