I’ve been looking for a leather case to replace my apple case that started peeling at the corners from every day wear. I’m usually very careful with holding my phone and I’ve never dropped it in that case. It did have a good feel to it, but for it to start peeling was a dealbreaker for me. This case from Bellroy is a good replacement. It also has a good feel to it, but the twist is the black bezel around the phone and the cutouts for the charging port and speakers at the bottom. I also like the minimalist aesthetic to it with the low profile name branding etched into the case and the non gloss look to the leather. Also a fairly thin wrap in general for a light feel weight-wise. The tactile buttons aren’t stiff or hard to press and there is a good amount of a raised bezel between the phone and the surface of whatever you set it down on if you decide to leave your phone face down. My only complaint is that the cut out for the camera lenses in the back air evenly with the case if you decide to leave your phone on its back for a wireless charger, which btw, because of its thin shell, charges well, but it leaves the lenses exposed to possible scratching. Some people may not like that and some people might, depending on their own level of comfort. This is NOT a MagSafe ready case, so if you’re using that reason as one of the primary reasons for a purchase, look elsewhere. I have a variety of cases that are MagSafe, but if you’re a one and done type of person, I recommend buying something else that is MagSafe compatible. Overall good product and slightly less expensive than apple’s case for the 12 pro max case. Thanks!
