Perfect price, perfect upgrade!

I found this gem on the Best Buy website. The price for what I wanted couldn't be beat. I now see all the graphics my games have to offer. Trees now have leaves and waters now move. It's the most amazing upgrade ever!!!

Great Monitor

I have personally had 2 other BenQ monitors in the past that have been nothing but amazing and this one has lived up to that expectation as well.

Headphone jack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the previous iteration of this monitor named the BenQ xl2730z. Zowie and BenQ are now one company and they rebranded the xl2730z to the Zowie xl2730. The monitor experiences an issue where the headphone jack does not work at the 144hz refresh rate. I had to lower the refresh rate of my monitor to 120hz in order to get the headphone jack to work. If the headphone jack does not work at 144hz return the monitor. They will not fix it, I tried. Their customer service states the issue can be remedied by buying a headphone jack extension and routing a longer cable from the desktop to my headphones. So for $550 plus tax you get a misrepresented monitor that has a half-baked headphone jack. If this is not an issue then buy the monitor. If you think you might use the headphone jack on the monitor at any time do not buy this monitor. There is even a thread on Tomshardware regarding the issuedated 8/16/2015 http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2767383/benq-xl2730z-sound-headphone-jack.html#19100697 We can't reasonably assume that they will fix the issue after knowing about it for over a year.
