They fit well into a lunch bag and hold a standard size portion of food. The top is divided into two containers, and the bottom is one larger container. Its perfect for sladas, pastas, small meals such as rice with meat or chicken and some vegies too. The utensils are pretty sterdy and thats something I was afraid wouldn't be. I was able to pick up my salad and cut my chicken with them. Happy with my purchase.
