If your not a fan of Berserk, this provides a bare bones look into the story behind it. Being someone who has read the manga these movies either leave out or just reference, a good portion of important events. If you can manage to get it on sale i would recommend considering it if you are a fan or are interested in the series.

A beautifully animated summary of the events of the Golden Age arc of Berserk. The one drawback is that there is no resolution to at the end as this arc is but a prelude to the next arc which we will just have to wait to come out.

If you haven't seen the anime, then you are in luck because this movie collection retells the great story of Guts

Berserk is a characteristically dark story, from what I've been told this movie arc is a condensed version of said arc from the manga. I haven't read much of the manga, but thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation.

Berserk is a great series and these movies are perfect in showing you the golden age arc. Be prepared for feels because it gets intense, but movies are absolutely awesome for any anime fan who wants a darker more mature story!

As a longtime fan of Berserk, this retellling brings the series to life for a new generation, complete with brutality, complexity, and absolutely epic battles that modern anime has forgotten. Highly recommend.

Started watching the Berserk anime a while back and loved it, when I saw this at best buy, I didn't even realize it had a movie trilogy. I knew I had to get it and don't regret it at all. Really great mature anime show.

This is the collection of movie version of the golden age arc. As is expected it will not have every little detail or is one to one with the manga. It is the golden age arc movie form and it doesn't disappoint.

Anyone who know Berserk would love this bluray set. It is of great image quality and sound. Love the story, even though it is dark and a bit too much gore. This is not a kid-friendly anime,adults would enjoy it.

Once you start watching difficult to stop. Engaging anime with the well written story and cast of characters that endears you to the anime. Three part movie Best Buy had it for a great price for all three movies. Essential movies that must be in everyone's anime collection.

Not only is the story line interesting as well as mind boggling, but, the action and fight scenes are tremendous. Just like with any other anime the artist do such a well job. This should go with the greats.

This is a great 3 film set, although the animation is sub par at times, the story is one you will never forget, the characters are timeless, and the violence is there if u are into that sort of thing. If u can get your hands on the 1997 24 episode version it was better.

Start here first of your new to Berserk and plan on watching Berserk 2016/2017. Fills in alot of the questions you will have. Very good

I saw the first one on Netflix and I just couldn't wait to see the next two movies. Pick it up for $30 at Best Buy definitely a good deal to get all 3 movie. It's been awhile since I bought a Blu-ray DVD but it's definitely worth it! Video looks amazing...

I enjoy this animation and the story is incredible. The downside of this is the quality control of the packaging. My copy's interior spine that holds the disks is broken, which is not a big deal, but without a doubt is a disappointment.

It was dark story about the Demon. the battle sequence was really great, I never seen before in other animation. The CGI visuals were very well done, even music too. IT IS NOT FOR CHILDREN.

I'm a huge fan of the original 90s Berserk TV series. The story was incredible and the animation was top-notch for its time. I would say Berserk is one of my Top-3 favorite anime series of all time! This 3-movie collection condenses the story from the TV series, and in the process, loses some of the intricacies and impact. That is to be expected in any series-to-movie adaptation. The CG animation is what really lets this collection down. The movement of the characters are unnatural and jarring. The camera angles that the director uses are awkward and distracting. At least the basic storyline is still there. That's the only thing that saves this version from being a total flop.

Awesome movies. Tells the overview of the Golden Arc. It may leave a good portion of the Manga and Anime out but if you want a streamlined version, than you can't go wrong.

I've watched a good bit of anime, Berserk is one of the darker ones you will find. However, the action, story, and characters are fantastic. Don't pass on this, read the manga too.

I finally found The Golden Arc on Blueray! A little graphic for anyone who does not already know the Berserk franchise. Better than the 2017 series that's for sure!
