This was a lifesaver. I bought this for an aunty who has been working from home as well as a caregiver to my grandma. She was able to sit closer to my grams and was able to be there for her even more

Cables were ready for pickup within an hour of ordering. Worked great, was a real convenient solution and pricing was reasonable. Thanks to these cables i was able to install a new firewall for a client after learning our procurement department failed to include any cables.

your basic ethernet cat 6 cable, Pluses...fairly cheap for the length and a clip guard on connectors. One problem was shipping. UPS got it here in two days, then transferred to USPS who said they were waiting. Order is lost in the abyss. Live chat was a waste of 30 minutes with Best Buy. Called support and they had cables delivered same day from a store that didn't have it in stock when ordered.

Most networked computers, storage devices, other Ethernet connected peripherals have become compatible with gigabyte networking. Unfortunately this means cables must accommodate this speed without signal corruption. This is what Cat6 is about, cables meant to transport very fast network signals. You need one of these (or longer versions) when changing your network speed, as I needed to. One for every device, computer, switch, router and so on. Basically anywhere you see a network cable that is still cat5 will have to change out, elsewise those that haven't become a data bottleneck.
