Although the specifications say 1000 megabits per second, it is possible to exceed the limit. I purchased several cables when I did not have the 2.5Gbps hardware. The cables have worked well for the last 5 years. I tested the cables now with a new 2.5Gbps router and I get about 192 megabytes of transfer rate. One end was 2.5Gbps PC hardwired, but the other end was PC with WIFI signal. Most likely I am hitting the wifi limit. I do not have a 2.5Gbps switch yet. The network adapters show 2.5Gbps connections at a cable length of about 40-50 ft. There have been no reviews of 2.5Gbps connections here, so I hope this review helps.

When it comes to technology, it is always smart to have a "backup" cable handy. We are thankful that we had an extra cable that was long enough to reach. And now the internet is back up thanks to my backup cable.

I buy these cables all the time whenever I need new ones to have backups extras you cannot go wrong If you just need a cat6 cable by all means purchase Best Buy essentials Also the HDMI cables as well Don't spend big bucks Just to spend big bucks You're not going to get a difference Trust me I have gigabit internet's and I get sustain downloads at averages about 850 megabits per second on my Xbox Series X Don't forget overhead and resources is what really allows for the speeds you can get You won't get speeds like that and say a 1x obviously have a powerhouse computer you're going to get nice to stay in downloads and this is actually coming off of a DOCS 3.1 modem so technically it's only fiber to the pole I've used it with Synchronous gigabit up gigabit down five or two the modem itself in Minnesota and got excellent sustain downloads as well Same ballpark Roughly 900 sustained is what matters Don't be fooled by speed tests These are great cables I mean the first thing that comes down to is having you know a solid connection to your device your modem from there obviously your land These cables have never failed me I've never had a broken clip anything I just buy the 6 ft size I'm sorry the 10 ft size which are the smallest I have a collection of about a dozen of these now I keep buying a few for backups here and there they're so cheap

Pretty sure i've bought 7 of these cables already as I use these for anything that supports a wired connection. They work perfectly and do the job, the feel sturdy, the color looks nice (the photo shows that it's blue, but it's actually more of a lavender ish purple) and they are cheap.

Cable gets the job done. It's a 100 foot cat-6 ethernet.. not much to it.. it allows a wired connection up to 100 ft and as far as I know based on research, speeds do not even come close to decreasing at 100ft

Its a cat 6 ethernet cable, not much else to say. Established a gigabit link between the pc and router as specified

I ran this cable from the living room router to a second floor office, about 80 feet. Cable is flexible enough to easily run along walls, corners, and hide under wall trim. I plugged it in, ran a speed test, and had zero packet loss or downgrade in speed. This cable is excellent for the cost per foot, reliability, and performance it provides.

I am happy with this purchase. Good price. I like the blue color to differentiate the cables. Cord is a little thicker than others I have. Not sure if thicker copper conductor or insulation. Either way, that's better It has heavy duty, NOT flimsy connectors on the ends like my others, which break. Maybe these will last longer. I tested the cable: it transmitted a perfect Excel spreadsheet to my printer. I may switch this new one to my computer and put the thinner one on my printer.

Bought a 100ft ethernet cable thinking “this might be overkill”… turns out it’s basically the MVP of our internet setup. Hooked it up to Starlink and suddenly our connection went from “please don’t lag right now” to smooth, stable gaming and streaming. This thing stretches from the kitchen all the way to the far side of the bedroom - with extra length just casually hanging out like it’s showing off. Honestly could’ve gone with 50ft… but where’s the drama in that? The real plan is to eventually pin it up along the ceiling so it’s out of reach of tiny, chaos-loving children. 10/10: strong signal, strong reach, stronger life decisions.

I needed a cable as a quick stop-gap for a hard wired connection into our guest room for a friend who was working remotely and running into some issues with our WiFi. It was nice to be able to quickly grab a cable somewhere locally and solve the problem in a pinch. This has now become our "just run a cable" cable, which we generally store but deploy once or twice a year as needed. Long enough to generally reach without being a mess to wrap up and store. The latch on the ends also works well.
