I bought total tech along with my dishwasher in April. After now 7 attempts to get my dishwasher installation appointment, it still hasn’t been installed. After the first attempt where the dishwasher showed up to my house damaged, Best Buy’s internal systems can’t seem to keep an appointment on the calendar and continue to cancel it. I keep being assured by total tech that next time the appointment will happen, even by a manager, but 3 hours after spending 30 minutes on the phone getting it rescheduled, I get texts saying “it’s time to schedule your appointment”. For a company that works with tech devices on a daily basis, their own software is USELESS. I asked for a refund on my total tech membership since I have received ZERO service and I was told i would not get anything, and that any compensation would be given after the installation of my dishwasher (well when is that even going to happen if they can’t schedule something?), but it would be in the form of a gift card. I plan on never giving Best Buy my business again, not for appliances, not for a pack of batteries, not for anything, so a gift card is useless. Their “premium support” is a total joke. Avoid at all costs

Can't use Webroot on Mac and Runaround

After buying the Total Technical Support package, I attempted to download the Webroot Internet Security software for my desktop Mac. No software subscription came up so got on the phone with Geek Squad. After waiting for a bit, was told that the Internet Security Software only works on PCs, not Macs, and was transferred to another number. Heavy accent on the part of the service agent. Turned out I got transferred from computer tech support to a department that only processes subscription cancellations. After another 10 minute wait, was told that there was nothing they could do, and forwarded me back to computer support. Very frustrating.

Had an appointment for my TV Calibration on June 10th.Tech did not show and I received no phone call,text or email as to why tech was a no show.My wife spoke to customer service and they could not reach tech.Women left a message with tech to call my wife.Tech did not return call after an hour wait.I called customer service and was on hold for 40 minutes.l explained the situation and only got a gee sorry.She called the tech and he still did not answer his phone.She said that she noticed that someone put in my scheduled appointment that I was now in a reschedule status.She told me that my best bet was to go to the store and complain to them.
After my total tech support contract is up next month I will no longer be doing business with Best Buy.
