I have been able to use my membership to save big time money.
I ended up with some viruses which were really causing lots of issues. I tried to fix this on my own and really messed up my computer even more. I thought I had lost some valuable documents but Best Buy came to my rescue and restored my computer completely and it even worked faster than before.
**Lesson Learned--Don't waste all your time. Just let the experts do it!!

I had a major problem with my computer (virus related). When I went to the Geek Squad, they advised me it could be fixed for about $200.00, and I approved the repair. But then, the technician advised me about your maintenance program that costs less INCLUDING the repair saving me over $50.00, and now I have sound mind that I have a maintenance program in place. Very pleased with service.

I went to the store to look at laptop, computers and shelves and HP 17 inch but I wanted to think it over so I came back home and I’m looking on the website they had another 17 inch which was a little less so I called and talked to a Spencer, and he assures me that the lady that helped me at the store would get credit if they do that and the one I looked at first would be the best choice and I could order it over the phone. Go in when it came in and just go over to the geek squad and they would download my other one and I’ll be out of there well when I got to the store, they said oh you need an appointment with the geek squad and so now where I live in Hemet and I am traveling to Menifee. It was just go on home and will call you when it’s ready while I’m 85 years old and traveling back-and-forth is not some thing I wanted to do. that’s why I called him rather than making a second trip to the store. It seems he could’ve informed me that I needed to make an appointment before I came back over to pick it up so now I’ve made three trips to the store and cannot say it was one of my better experiences. I’m sure this will not be a winner, but it seems maybe you could all get together and let people. That they need to make an appointment before they get there so this doesn’t happen to someone else I’m sure this won’t get the best seller reward but maybe it will help other people don’t know what to do

The gentleman in the Brick store was very knowledgeable about the membership and what he was doing to repair my pc. He explained what he was doing and why he had to do it to get my problem solved. I highly recommend the membership to everyone. i have recommended the membership to a few friends and they all feel the same way I do.

I am not familiar with computers at all, but he was very patient with me and led me in the correct direction. I appreciated his help each time.

I have my computer serviced by Best Buy, to me it's very reliable and have been using them for a few years, I will never go to any other facility to have work done on my computer, never know what information they will be trying to retrieve, so I trust BB, because IF anything should arise or happen THEN I know by whom, So I do trust BB and will continue to use them and for any other electronic purchase. My daughter also just purchased a GE washer and Dryer, and she can't wait to get it home delivered. THANK YOU BB!

My Dell laptop was taken in for servicing due to a bluescreen loop. It turns out the drive was known to have issues, and production stopped long ago (although there was never a recall or information provided to indicate it would fail sooner than later). Because of this, I was told none of my information could be retrieved or saved. Bummer. Overall, the techs were nice, communicative, and efficient, all things considered.

I have really enjoyed having this membership. I have been able to utilize it a few times when I have had issues with my devices. Best Buy makes the experience super easy and replaces/repairs your device with no problem. I recommend to everyone that I can. I use it to cover my PlayStation 5, iPad, iPhone, ear buds, TV's, etc...

Best Buy total plus not only gives you discounts on certain items and member special only pricing but covers all your devices for up to 24 months. The only issue I’ve had is with TVs and manufacturer warranties that you have to go through if the product is within one year and fails. Those manufacturer warranties are not as good so caveat emptor on things like TVs displays and any Apple products that need to be serviced directly through Apple. Otherwise pretty much everything else if it breaks they’ll either replace it or give you a gift card with the price you paid for the item so still well worth it.

I bought a new laptop and wanted to be sure I could use Microsoft Outlook for my mail. Not sure that I could get it to transfer from my former desktop, I enrolled to get the help I needed. Very glad because the install was not seamless. The Geek squad set me up.

The price is a bit high, but overall it feels like a good deal for peace of mind. I understand that some products may be available at better prices outside of Best Buy; however, I prefer to buy all my electronics from Best Buy. With the addition of the Best Buy Total Membership, I have found great relief in knowing where to find all my warranties and protection plans. The return process is also easy and hassle-free. I'm very satisfied with my membership.

This membership is hooked to outsourced intervention, (re: South America ) in my case, and is extremely hard, and nearly impossible, to be placed in touch with the service agent that was originally hands on with my phone assessment, at Best Buy in Leominster Massachusetts. I paid for the membership thinking it would be a great access to, hands on, technical assistance. You can't just simply call the Leominster store. And the two persons, I spoke with on the phone recently to attempt making contact, actually lied to me about access. I had called to inquire about fake emails I am receiving from outside sources with exactly the amount I paid for my membership demanding 2 year payment for the exact amount I Paid. SO IT IS OBVIOUS BEST BUY IS SHARING OUR INFORMATION with secondary outsourcing. I am disappointed and am reporting this to the Federal Government for fraud.

I renewed my membership because I had a really bad issue where a gaming pc had to be sent out for repair (motherboard) after 6 months of ownership. The PC came back looking like it was chewed up and dropped. Best Buy gave me a full cried for the original price. I was shocked and thankful.

I enjoy having Best Buy total membership I have had to use the insurance on some items and received great service in being able to replace the items. 200 dollars seems like a lot but can be beneficial in the long run. including the head start on Best Buy deals and credit card offers. I have personally recommended my friends and family to sign up if they do or plan to shop at Best Buy.
