Quality build, great price, good looks & good sound. I replaced a Polk Audio 100w 8" sub with this unit and the difference was tremendous. Although, I have an old 12" 100w unit in my garage that has similar sound level & quality. I have a large entertainment room 25' x 15' to fill with sound. May need to relocate the unit to the corner for optimum results.

Using a digital source I had to turn the sub up to 6 or more for it to work. I'm impressed at how it works I dont dare turn it up higher. I have had it for about 3 weeks and it is starting to sound better and better. Definetly one of the best subs I've ever owned.

This is a great sub for The price works perfect. Easy setup.

I have another sub woofer but his one really has deeper bass range and supplies the need oomph for Action pictures. Sounds great with music as well.

Good quality sound and design. I use it in my garage down firing onto concrete and it sounds great. Good range and plenty of volume, shakes the wallls if you want.

The Sound Is The Best For The Money Deep Bass Hookup Is Easy

This was a 2nd sub for my home theater and works great to suppliment the bass in my set up.

Bic America?? never heard of this brand until i read the reviews, and glad i did.I will replace the rest of my speakers now that i know this brand is for real .

First sub blew fuse as soon as turned on The replacement is working fine so far. Bass hits hard on music and movies. My neighbor thought it was thundering outside when she realized it was my sub shaking her house!!

This subwoofer is a lot cheaper than some of the other high-end brands but performs equally as well as the more expensive ones. I highly recommend this product

This 12" sub is amazing. Did not expect the sound that came from this speaker.

Easy set up using microphone that came with my AV receiver. Sounds great after break-in period.

This sub stays true to all of the specs listed by best buy and other websites, and if you have the right sized room, this baby can hit 15 Hz! Don't listen to the complaints, yes you have to turn the gain to about 7 or 8 to hear it, but gain levels are setup differently on different subs. This is an all around amazing sub, excelling in music and HT, even though it's hard to reach the subs limits, it let's you know it's at its limits by making a clacking sound instead of damaging itself without warning. I like this sub so much that I'll be buying a second one soon.

With the sizable list of budget subwoofers sold by Best Buy this is the top performer. Keep in mind this is not a marketplace item, it is a BB item just not displayed in BB stores. Having owned numerous powered subwoofers over the years, used in various applications, I am confident providing highly favorable feedback here. This item outperforms its competition in this price range and contends with if not surpasses subwoofers sold at BB in the $400-$500 price range. Frequency response is impressive, the sub handles dynamic change and extension very well, tight response, no bottoming out, no port noise, no amp noise, great for HT and music. The enclosure is large but built to perform and looks great. BASH amp technology and solid woofer construction.

This subwoofer is large and packs a large punch. The construction appears high end and seems like it should have cost more. The cabinet is actually a wood grain with a light satin rub and more of a grey color than the picture shows. The manual says it requires a breaking in period so I have been running it pretty hot with the crossover up to 80hz and it makes your skull vibrate. When I cut it down to 60hz it blends perfectly with the rest of my system. If your mains can't reach down to 60hz this might be a little overpowering to make up the difference. I actually put it in an enclosed built-in cabinet that I have to the right of my television. No difference in the sound with the cabinet opened or closed but it does take up the entire cabinet. My room is 23 x 23 and this fills it up. For the price I can see no reason to pay more unless you need something smaller.

This sub has quite a bit of power to it, but the volume/crossover dials are touchy, making it tricky to get tuned just right, either too much or not quite enough bass, but one can get it with some patience. One nice thing is the lack of port hiss even at high volumes. I've pushed this thing, and it could break windows if I really tried and very little hiss is heard. Having some standard legs would be nice, these pointed ones work well on carpet, but I have hardwood.
