This sub is fantastic, sounds as good as my $700 SVS SB-2000 sub, only difference is the SVS goes lower (compared a lot of subs, and you have to pay substantially more to go lower frequency than the BIC will). This sub puts the Klipsch to shame, the Klipsch sounds boomy (not a good boomy) and sloppy comparatively, not to mention there is some detectable port noise with the Klipsch. The BIC sub hits hard with plenty of tight deep bass. If you are looking for a great sub at a great price, please do yourself a favor, don't even look at the Klipsch or Polk and buy this instead. You will not be disappointed. :)

I bought this to add to a HT. This replaced a high end 10" sub that was blowing internal fuses and honestly was not big enough for the room it was moved to either. Having spent too much on the rest of my set up I took a chance at the price and am pleasantly surprised. Delivered in 2 days, sub is attractive with a quality feel and appears well built. Sound is great. I tuned it to my system and would say that I do not find it muddy, bass is clean at high volume. Note that this is a large speaker which should be considered in your placement. This is my first BIC purchase, I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases.

I love bass and this one filled my room with excessive bass. I plan on buying 4 of them since I'm a bass head. To understand how great this sub is, keep reading. It costs about 1/3 of the price of the other subwoofer I was interested in. That is not based on one Bic sub . That 1/3 price point is if you order 4 of them. A absolute steal of a deal. BTW I was looking at the PB-16, a great sub but one of them will never equal four of these. I'm happy, and my bank account is happy as well. If you've contemplated this sub I implore you to give it a shot.

This sub really shines when watching movies. You can feel the bass. For a 200.00 price point you have zero to lose. This sub blows my old polk psw110 out of the water. Stop reading this review and go buy this baby.

i received this on 2/7/2013 and it gave out 2/10/2013 it seemed to be working fine and sounded pretty good while listening to music sunday afternoon it gave out. I am not sure whether to get it replaced by the vendor or just get my money back, The vendor will do either one my choice. just not sure if maybe it was a bad sub.

Sure the driver itself is good, but the plate amp powering this sub is horrible. It's definitely hit or miss with this sub. You either get a dud or an entry level sub that is adequate. This sub has blown 4 fuses just from power cycling
