This film is a cult classic back when times were simple you watched these movies for the laughs and walked away with some of the notorious sayings from the movie. The movie is simple yes barely any plot to it just 2 best friends going on an adventure while encountering typical teenage shenanigans. If you were born after the 80's and watch this movie just enjoy it for what it is don't pick it apart because what was acceptable to laugh at then was then don't use the PC world we live in now to tear it apart. So the next time you're at Best Buy pick up this movie to add to your collection you won't be disappointed.

Loved Bill and Ted since I was kid and would catch "Excellent Adventure" sometimes on TV, but could never watch it from beginning to end since the first time I watched it when I was kid because of commercials. And since I'm a steelbook collector, I thought that this would make an awesome part of my collection! First thing's first, the steelbook packaging is what you expect it to be. Nothing special, no raised edges that make it pop out or anything. But it is a collector's item, like I said, so it makes for a good item in the collection if you have one. Audio/Visual: Also what you would expect. The special effects are not redone with CGI nor do they look up to date (like the time traveling scenes). They are just upscaled to make it look HD, however, on bigger TV's the upscale may appear a bit grainy as it was on my TV (60 inch). The audio is hit or miss. Some parts of the movie had audio upgraded clarity while some sounded like standard definition. It is an 80's movie so the upscaling can be hit or miss. Other than that, if you're a Bill and Ted fan and a steelbook collector, then go for it and grab this steelbook!

Excellent rating for an Excellent Adventure. The movie is a classic, I remember being a kid at the video store and my parents renting this when it first hit VHS. A unique and entertaining story. I never owned a DVD or Blu-Ray copy but when I saw this Steelbook, and it was on sale, I grabbed it. I'm not a Steelbook collector but the art on this made it definitely worth getting to display. In case you are wondering, Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure Steelbook will have a matching cover with a different color scheme. I believe it will be released during the holidays.

The cost of this dvd was very reasonable. It is an entertaining movie.

Bill Preston and Ted Logan are two totally excellent dudes facing one most heinous history exam. With the help of Rufus an ultra-cool messenger in a time traveling phone booth, the triumphant twosome bag a bevy of historical heavyweights like the "Bodacious Philosopher" Socrates" One Very Excellent Barbarian" Genghis Khan, the "Short Dead Dude" Napoleon and "Noah's Wife" Joan of Arc to stage the most hysterical high school project ever. History's about to be rewritten by two guys who can't even spell.

What's not great about this movie? It's excellent, a butof nostalgia and a whole lot of fun. Saw this when I was a kid and love it to this day. It's a cult classic that never loses interest. It's a modern day Rigby and Mordecai (Regular Show). Every character is interesting, from Billy the Kid to Ghengis Khan. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are funny as heck. So many one liners in this movie that will be remembered for decades.

Where do you start talking about a movie like this one? It's hard because basically it's whole premise is sort of goofy. It's about two "rockers" from southern California that time travel to different points in history in order to get a good grade on their oral history report. Yet, there is something so watchable, and so enjoyable about it that you just don't care. The two leads are not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but they're positivity and out look on life makes it hard to dislike them, and as a result you end up having a more fun with this silly plot than maybe you should

I've always enjoyed this great comedy, and it's looks amazing on bluray. RIP George Carlin. That aside, Keanu at his best... And preferable. Alex winter on the other hand, I'm upset with.... He was suppose to direct a remake of one of my favorite horror movies, "the gate", but never did. When will the sequel be available? Nobody knows...

What a great classic movie featuring a young Keanu Reeves and one of my favorite comedians George Carlin. Watching this again, with it's excellent soundtrack, reminded me of my own struggles as a youth. Good time. How could I not give this excellent adventure an excellent rating.

Great HD transfer - looks better than it did 35 years ago in theaters! Audio mix is also topnotch - which is wonderful because it has the best sound track of the 80's (and that's a high bar).

This is a true classic of the 1980s and both Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves play the ultimate slackers. Thankfully, a time traveling guide named George Carlin arrives to help them with their history project!

Wonderfully entertaining movie from my youth. Good conversion to Blue Ray, although like nearly every movie that was made before CG some of the special effects look rather goofy now. Still a great movie, hilarious, and great to have on Blue Ray.

Great steelbook for the price, with a great cover. Just wish the movie had come with a digital code. Also said to be limited to 10,000, but there is no indication of a number on the steelbook to show such.

Always loved this movie, and with the upcoming sequel and a new release, what better time to update from the old DVD copy. Special Features are great, and picture/sound quality is fantastic.

This is one terrific film. It's funny but also had some touches that show the director knew a little more about history than expected. I loved this movie when it was new, and the special features in the disc added even more.

An awesome classic comes to blu-ray, one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. You can't go wrong with a little Bill and Ted in your life. It looks pretty awesome in HD, and the sound is pretty stunning.

This is the movie that put Keanu Reeves on the map. Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves create very likable characters. Light entertainment at it's best.

An iconic piece of movie that should be in everyone's collection. Heard a lot about it and finally got it and watched it. Surpassed all the good things people tell about it. Would watch it often.

This is definitely a classic flick with something for everyone. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Then follow that up by seeing Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. You'll be glad you did.
