Love the dual action Intake/Exhaust. Cool air in... Hot air out

We bought one of these a little over a year ago and it's been awesome. A great fan and it still works. So, at he end of this summer, I bought 2 more for our other 2 upstairs bedrooms. Within a month, both fans have stopped working. Best Buy's ridiculous 15 day return policy is no help and Bionaire is willing to send us replacement fans except they don't have ANY. So now we have 2 expensive fans that I JUST bought and neither one works. We can get a replacement but it could be a month up to my death before we get them. Bionaire has NO timeline for getting more fans so it could be more than year wait.....

This window fan was great when it was still working. Unfortunately, it would not turn on after a few weeks of use.

This works really well, and keeps my bedroom noticeably cooler than my living room. Frankly it works as well as my AC unit, so I'm buying a second one to replace my AC because the fan is cheaper and easy to remove from the window when it's cool outside.

I purchased this for our 12'x10' (120sqft) bedroom. What's great about this fan is it does an excellent job of moving a lot of air. The counter rotating fans on the exchange setting does a really great job of leveling the temperature in our room. We have a portable AC unit outside of the bedroom and when it's on, I reset the fan on "out" drawing the cooler air into the bedroom. The only hang up I have with this unit is the temp gauge seems to measure the temperature outside the window. Otherwise, it's an excellent fan with no issues since I've been using it the last 60 days.

My only complaint is that is need a bit more of a buffer between on/off when set to a temperature. For example if I set it to 67º it will run when the temp reached 68º. A lot of times the fan will kick on for 15-20 seconds and reach that temp and cut off. I wish it would wait till the room is 69º or so and then bring it down. Too much on off is distracting when I'm trying to sleep.

The only negative about this fan is that it is not large enough to serve as a true whole-house or apartment fan. It's simply not large enough. Beyond that it's just fine. It's surprisingly quiet. The extension panels are easy to assemble. Most people will be able to understand the controls without reading the instructions. For me, the remote does not serve any purpose, but it's there if you need it.

This is a great fan when its 97 outside make is inside feel like 27.i Will definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a good window fan.

Need to buy a second one for my daughter. To bad the stores don't carry them any longer.
