Bought this a few months back and now I’m finally reviewing this scrubber. I had a Bissell Pro Heat scrubber and was alright. But it didn’t really clean good enough for my situation. My living room is on a cement slab and I found out that it was cracked and dirty water after a rain came in and stained the carpet. First use of this scrubber and the carpet looked new and was super soft afterwards. Extremely impressed! Now off to the rest of the house to scrub.

Great machine, washes excellent and picks the water very well I do recommend it to any one who wants their lives easi when washing their careers, cars carpets, mattresses, sofa's it's been very good for that too..

Been wanting to buy this for several years. I’ve used the Big Green Machine as a rental several times but always had to rush to get it back. Now I take my time and get each room and area cleaned to the max. No other rental machine can begin to equal this one because this one has active brushes that agitate the carpet fibers while it sucks out the grime. I know my carpet is cleaner with the first pass than with multiple passes of the other machine because I can see the difference. Big Green Machine DEEP CLEANS all the dirt/stains, odors, out of my carpets. Spot clean heavy soil, let it soak in, then clean as usual. Enough said! Worth the money to be able to take my time!

This unit is a lot sturdier than my previous Bissell Pet Pro cleaner and does a very nice job of cleaning. The water fill and clean system is easier to fill and service during post carpet cleaning maintenance. It is a bit bulkier than my previous unit and so is a bit more to manhandle when moving around the house. Cleans well with less noise and definitely leaves less water in the carpet than my last model; so drying takes less time. Only thing that seemed confusing is that Bissell does not talk about using fresh water to rinse the carpet. Any detergents left on the carpet will attract dirt.

Perfect in every way. This Green Machine really gets the carpet clean AND leaves it feeling pretty dry. I did two passes with solution and two passes without, the carpet was clean and dry enough to place furniture on within a couple hours. The cord is plenty long, even for my large master suite and great room. Appreciate that the tank is large and doesn't need to be changed every few passes like some smaller rug cleaners. Easy to rinse tanks, wipe down the machine and small footprint in my closet.

Amazing product . Cleans carpet great . I got tired of renting the machine. It’s so much cheaper for me in the future. The only thing I don’t like is that it is heavy.

I hesitated on buying this and was going to opt for the Bissell ProHeat 2X. After reading many reviews I decided on the Big Green Machine. I don't have any regrets. It's a very powerful machine and is in the professional grade of carpet cleaning machines. Very easy to use and solidly built. It's heavy ! If you can find this on sale like on Amazon then Best Buy can match the price, which is what they did for me..so I got it at a really good price during the Black Friday weekend.

I have tried so many carpet cleaners. I have four children and I live in Alaska, where there's more mud and dirt then there is grass. We have two dogs, a cat, guinea pigs, and a turtle. Our carpets regularly get destroyed. I have a carpet cleaner and I would use it every few months with minimal results. And I'm talking a very expensive one. I also rented a Rug Doctor, and it was just a little bit better. And then I found this and oh my Lord. Yes it's super heavy, but a lot easier to put together than a lot of the other stand-up ones. It uses hardly any water oh, so you can do a whole room in one go. I used to think the more water the better to clean, that's not correct. I tried a few swipes last night because I got home at around 9 and I didn't want to do the whole carpet. So I tried a few swipes and it's night and day. I put a towel over it to let it dry overnight and by 7 this morning it was completely dry. It was still pulling some hair out of the carpet, although we have a very expensive vacuum specifically for pet hair so it did not get much. It looks like the sunlight is coming in and there's a dark shadow where I haven'tcleaned yet. I vacuume every day and we constantly clean this carpet. So I don't want you to think that it's just a really dirty carpet. Overall yes super heavy. I would have paid $600 for a machine that works this well. If your home is an investment than you need to get this if you have carpets.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner I've ever owned by 1000 miles it's better than some I've rented matter of fact my son thought it was a rental before I told him I had just purchased it, its extremely well built it's like a tan the plastic is thick and durable you can just feel the quality difference from the other so called high end carpet cleaners, this thing has powerful brushes and vacuum motors (I had no pet hair clogs) it has a huge clean and dirty water reservoirs that's extremely easy to use and clean, long durable cord and it cleans like an absolute dream my carpets look and smell fantastic, I will be completely honest it is heavy and does take a small learning curve on how you use it so the weight doesn't affect you as much just go slow and let it do all of the work regardless if you're looking for a machine that comes ready to go out of the box no assembly, you feel like it was worth what you paid and its going to last But most importantly It WORKS then look no further this machine is excellent!!!!!!!

Honestly the best carpet cleaner I’ve ever owned. I’ve had this one for a little over a little over a year, I have 4 boys so it’s had it’s fair share of messes to clean up. Our carpet looks like it was professionally cleaned, highly recommend!!!!

This is the second brand I’ve owned to clean my carpets. I’ve rented the competitor Rug Dr. This one works, by far, the best & leaves little water behind to dry fast. The dual resevoirs makes the job quicker. Cleanup is very easy. Highly recommend if you have pets or kids that requires cleaning more often than average. Check out some personal videos on youtube for examples of the tough stains it gets out. Its a bit noisy but aren’t they all.

The machine works really great on carpets. We have a dog and young kids and our carpet is always getting dirty. It does a great job of picking up the dirt from the carpet. The machine is heavy but with the amount of carpet cleaning we do it is so worth it. Easy to put water and solution and empty out. Highly recommend.

So, we have 4 kids and 2 dogs, as you can imagine, carpet maintenance is a nightmare. We would rent machines 4 times a year. Then one day at Best Buy I saw this little gem. I was Leary as it looked like a big rug Doctor, but the price was affordable. I took a chance and picked it up. Wish I would have done this year's ago! This thing does just as good of job, if not better than any rental I have used. It is the narrower of the 2 units when renting, but it still goes quick. This unit does NOT have the blower on the back to help dry the carpet. I was a little concerned about that. BUT, the suction from the vac made up for it and the carpets were dry in hours! I was amazed what it picked up. I have used it twice now and it is sweet. Clean up is easy and storage is too. This is a must have!!

I did my research and decided to go with the 2020 overall best shampoo machine. I am glad I did, it got stains off of my carpet that I thought would never come off. My carpet looks very clean and new again. This machine is easy to use and does a great job. Its a bit pricey and that would be my only complaint.

I’ve never written a review for a product, but the proof is in the pictures. After looking at many machines, I chose the Bissell Big Green Machine. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

This big green is freaking a cleaning machine! It cleans like no other carpet cleaning machine! Easy to use, and pretty easy to maneuver. It is a bit heavy but has a great handle! The attachment hose could be longer to do stairs but hey you can’t win them all! It cleans carpets and furniture wonderfully!

I love this thing!! I have borrowed and rented carpet cleaners in the past and they have done a decent job but this is by far the best one I have used. Additionally I always found it pretty gross to rent machines....you never know where they have been. This machine is powerful enough to get up the majority of the water put down so drying time is significant better than other cleaners. If you have a decent amount of carpet in your home just bit the bullet and buy one. You wont regret it. It may be a bit heavy for some people so take that into consideration if weight is something you are concerned about.

I had a water leak come through my wall and leak dirty water on my brand new carpet. so I wanted a heavy duty cleaner that would make my new carpet look good. All of the reviews I read about the Bissell Big Green machine were true. It was very easy to use and did an excellent job cleaning my carpet in a timely manner. It also included 3 small bottles of rug cleaner, which I appreciated. It also has an attachment for furniture, stairs or small areas that I plan on using in the future.

This is a monster machine. It’s heavy but it WORKS! It made my carpets look like new. I live in an apt and the carpets are old. It’s easy to use and pretty straightforward. I’d buy it again!

Bought this to replace a Bissell , was a little worried might not be that much better than the old one for 200.00 more but it was money well spent, carpets feel like new and look great. easy to use. Little on the heavy side compare to others but that's probably not a bad thing.
