The Bissel Pet Hair Eraser Bagless Hand Vac Black Pearl is a great convenient accessorie for those small animal household chores! A great tool for quick clean up.

We have a dog a and two cats and use a Dyson animal upright for our primary cleaning and absolutely love it.; but we couldn't bring ourselves to pay $200 + for a Dyson handheld. So we read reviews online and at consumer reports and decided to pick this up as it is much more affordable. On the positive side, It is a plug-in handheld which we like as we won't have to worry about a battery running out in the middle of a cleaning. It is pretty light weight and the cord is long enough to do a full set of stairs. It has great suction and the rubber attachment works very well to pick up animal hair off of the stairs, couches, bedding, etc. It is a no-frills easy-to-use hand vacuum. On the negative side, as others have stated, it does blow air towards the front sides of the vacuum so it's not a great choice for hardwood or tile floors as it does blow the hair and dust around a bit. However, for this price point, it's going to be hard to beat-I still recommend it.

This hand vac is just the right size for quick clean up jobs. My dog doesn't shed much hair but this little vacuum does the quickie job.

I have a short hair jack russell but he sheds like a long haired. I use it everyday on my couch.

Purchased for our carpeted stairs and it works quickly and efficiently. Holds more than the usual hand vac.

I purchased this as I have a lot of pets. The pickup is decent, but the size makes it difficult for large jobs.

I like the suction power. But the air blows out from the sides and blows debris around. Plus it should be cordless. The cord is a pain n the butt.

I tried this on my low pile area rugs & didn't get the results I was hoping for. Actually, the crevice tool on my vacuum cleaner does a better job of removing the cat hair that gets trapped in between the fibers (although it's a lot of work). I returned this to the store next day & am on the market for something with greater suction.

The hand vac isn't powerful enough. I wound up using my regular vacuum.

Don't let the size or price fool you. This vacuum does what is says it will. Picks up dog and cat hair. Is easy to use due to it's smaller size and weight. Comes with a 16ft cord and velcro strap to secure the cord when not in use. Also comes with two attachments. One that is rubber with small nipples that really moves the pet hair for easier pick up and a more narrow conventional vacuum type attachment. Great for use on stairs and in your vehicle too.

I purchased two of these deal of the day vacuum's. They are adorable, but small and I decided to return them without even opening them.

Having a cord makes it a painight to constantly bend over to vacuume.

I have a pug that I love dearly but I don't like the hair he sheds! Pulling out the vacuum several times a week got old so I bought the Bissell pet hair eraser and hoped for the best. I could not be happier! It works great on my microfiber couch and my cotton duvet. It is easy to use, light weight and portable. Easy to clean when it's full. I take it with me when I travel so my dog doesn't leave his unwanted hair at my friends/family's house. After my mom used it, she bought herself one!! I have also let my friend borrow it and he loved it, so can you guess what he will be getting for Christmas this year? I would say "this product has enough suction that a single pass does the job" depending on the surface. I noticed my friends couch made of micro-suede velvet took a little longer to clean. I highly recommend this product!

I have a Shiba Inu that sheds all the time and this vac is perfect. Some of the reviews I read said it wasn't really loud, but it's about as loud as a floor vac. It does have a lot more power than I thought for a hand vac and I like that it has a really long electric cord. I use it everyday and only have to go over the furniture once.

It wasn't what I expected because it sucked up very little dog hair and dirt. It was more of a hassle to empty it out. I ended up returning it to the store,

I purchased this vacuum last night. At first glance I did not believe something this small would have such power. I have 3 short haired dogs and their hair is constantly getting embedded in my furniture. But WOW once trying this little vacuum I could not believe all the hair that came off of my furniture. I even used it on my daughter's futon mattress, and it did an excellent job! The only thing that takes time learning is once you take the filter out to clean it, it's tricky getting it put back together. Overall, I am convinced that great things do come in small packages!!

I was really amazed by this little hand vac. I have a Pomeranian and a chihuahua who shed up a storm. The power on the thing is great and it really does a good job. The pink pet hair attachment is fantastic on fabric. I even use it on my clothes. It works a million times better then a lint roller! I am not going to lie....I even use it on my dogs. The only downside to the pink attachment is that it is hard to get pet hair off it, even if you rinse it under water. The cord is quite long which is nice. It's a bit on the loud side but what do you expect? It's a vacuume. I love this thing!

Am taking time off my day to write this review after just purchasing this item. WOW. I have had cats all my life. Have used rolls of sticky paper, handheld and major upright vacuums with attachments, this cheap small vacuum beats them all. I really had little expectations as I started to suck all the hair from my micro suede pillows and couch in a jiffy. SO HAPPY. My cats shed so much it is a constant battle. It took me 5 mins to vaccum it all with this miraculous rubbery nose. I was on a roll so I decided to go for the loose litter sand all over my floors around the cats' box. The Bissel picked everything up super fast. Same thing, was done in 5 mins, opened the container, dumped the pet hair and litter. DONE. Ready for another go tomorrow. Don't get fooled by the price. Best tool for picking up pet hair.

I have been looking for a hand held vac to remove unwanted pet hair from my furniture. This vacuum is absolutely amazing. I regularly vacuum my furniture and was surprised by the amount of fur that came off of my couch with the first use. My only complaint about this product is that it isn't entirely portable as it does require to be plugged in however the power this little vacuum has completely makes up for it. I've already told all of my friends with pets about this. I highly highly recommend this product!
