The current vacuum I have, which is a dyson, is too strong.And will not clean the rug.It will just suck it up. This vacuum works amazing. All I have to do is have it on the one bar and it will pick up anything on my area. Rug, without sucking it up, I totally recommend this vacuum for area rugs. Also love the light.

I like using it in the kitchen because with the light I can see hair on the floor.

It is easy to empty and has a nice mountable rack to hold the vac and its accessories, all while its charging. You can also order additional batteries and power head.

The battery is super heavy for a stick vacuum, which is not good. The only good thing about it is the light at the end of the vacuum shows you all the. The battery is not working and not charging.

It doesn't pick up much so you have to vacuum over an area multiple times. Better off paying a little bit more for a better vacuum, I returned mine.
