Customers are positive about the cleaning performance and ease of use of this steam mop, with many praising its effectiveness in cleaning floors and its user-friendly design. However, customers are negative about the occasional water residue left behind and some reported issues with the steam function. Many appreciate the time-saving aspect and the chemical-free cleaning. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and ease of use outweighs the concerns regarding water residue and steam inconsistencies.

Great for a couple of spins and then....nothing

I REALLY wanted to be able to come back and tell you how wonderful this steamer was. I used it a couple of times and even my husband commented on how great the floors looked. Unfortunately after about a month it started to act up. The final straw was when I was cleaning the floors for a showing (we were trying to sell our house) and of all days it quit putting out water half way through. Then to top it off as I'm running back through I notice little white water ghosts on the floor and the only way I could get to make them go away was to scrub each spot with pledge. I was very disappointed...hoping I will at least be happy with the warranty I purchased on it!

This is the first one i ever bought and it does what I expected it to do. I have worn, dimpled linoleum and I feel it cleans better than a regular mop, which is what I wanted now that we have a baby. My mom has bought many that have not worked well or stopped working after several attempts. She commented on how well she liked it when she was staying with us after the birth of my daughter. Of course as with everything, I wish it would have been cheaper.

i hate HATE hate cleaning, but with the steam mop I dont even feel like i'm cleaning, it's kind of fun.
Cleans everything and dries within 10 minutes. just sweep/vacuumm beforehand because it doesnt pick up dirt, obviously.

Cleans and "scrubs" without the elbow grease

This model heats up quickly, provides plenty of cleaning on one tank.
The one drawback is the cleaning pad... while it comes on easily and doesn't pop off during operation, if you do not risne it out or change it multiple times during cleaning, you get a residue on the floor.
All in all it is a great product.

Lasted about a month and does not work anymore. Further, this is my second one that has stopped working after a very short period of time. First one I bought at Lowes and returned, thought maybe I just got a bad apple, when it worked, it did work well. So I thought I would give it another try, exact same result. Seems the pump stops working, it still gets hot, but no water gets to the head, thus no steam is produced. I even took it all apart to check inside, everything appeared clean and in good working condition. Agree with the one reviewer who said he threw it against the floor to watch it break!

Mop on Steroids

As a househusband, efficiency and effectiveness are critical to me. In an all-tile house, the first use of this mop was without comparison to any other tool! This bad boy even fell down fifteen steps and continued to work flawlessly. It removed stains that were evasive to all but on-the-knees with
scrub pad attention.

NOT great at all.

Usually I will at least have something good to say about a product but this thing was a complete disappointment. It's my first time using a steam cleaner but you don't have to be a genius to recognize what bad quality is. The first clue was the fact that it can't stand upright even in it's "locked" position. It worked fine on my bathroom but for "big" jobs like my studio apartment floor, it acts as a glorified hot towel. A steamer is as good as it's degree it can sanitize and I don't feel like this did any of that.

leaked at the filter

This steam mop leaked at the filter. The water would not drain properly from the tank through the filter and would leak out at the tank/filter connection point. It also left the floor too wet which resulted in long drying times for a steam mop. The overall poor rating is due the mop not functioning as advertised. I exchanged this item for the Eureka enviro-steamer and am much happier.

This is not a good product. I bought it in the hopes it would be at least descent enough to use everyday instead of having to break out the mop and scrub my floors but that isnt going to happen. It does not have enough of an electric brush to get up sticky or even little messes. it shoots out very little water and it has no scent to it like cleaning solution does. It was so pointless to buy this product it doesnt do a thing for my floors.

Don't waste your $$$

I am shocked this product is sold in stores. Just take your $69 and torch the bills up with a Bic lighter. It will be more fun to watch and so much less headache then going to the store picking out this trash, putting it together, and watching water puddle on your floor. The steam that does come out is so inconsistent and poor, it fails to even remotely clean as advertised. I was so mad after spending about an hour (including driving time and putting this thing together) I threw it as hard as I could against my garage floor watching it blow into pieces. I then picked them up and threw the entire product into the garbage. That alone made me feel I got my $69 worth. What a piece of junk!

Very disappointing

When washing my floors it always seemed to have soap scum left over. I figured with steam only I wont see any streaks on my tiles. I am very disappointed with the product. Not only is it hard to manuever, it also left my floors with the same markings as my regular mop.
A pure waste of money.
Not worth buying perhaps a different brand would be better, but I am afraid to take the risk.

Terrible

I don't know where all these glowing reviews came from but this thing stinks. I have wood laminate flooring through out my home, I thought this would be a real time saver. Boy was I wrong, you literally have to dry the floor with a towel! Sure the idea of no chemicals is great, but everything else is horrible. Left my laminate floors looking streaky. Do not buy this item, mine is going back to best buy tomorrow.
