I recently replaced the previous B&D model PHV1800 I owned with the new model. The previous model lasted about 10 years before the batteries in the unit stopped charging. So far, the new model works just like the old one. It has a strong vacuum and a good nozzle that adjusts for tight spots. My only complaint is that the new model no longer includes a charging stand for the vacuum. With the new model, you have to plug the charging cable directly into vacuum and put it on the floor. That issue aside, I still recommend this hand vacuum.

I wold recommend this cordless vac to anyone, it has the most power I have seen on a cordless vac ever. Works great for around the house for your car or any tight spaces. Try it you will love it !!!!!!!

WOW! I had a Dust Buster that was maybe 13 years old and it died out. The Black & Decker Cordless Hand Vac is awesome, what a great replacement. Incredible suction strength and is very easy to empty. I am very happy with this purchase.

Use this to vacuum the van. Charge last for about one go over. Then you have to charge it again. I use it about 3 or 4 times in between using the real vaccuum. Has hard time with those hairs that stick and getting into real tight spaces. Works for what I wanted it for.

After buying an assortment of battery operated vacuums this one is by far the best I've ever had !! It has the most power of any of it's predecessors and it's battery life is very good.

Too early for a thorough review, but so far good power and battery life. Efficient design for emptying the bag and quick cleaning. A bit pricey, but top of the heat for hand vacuum performance. I would definitely recommend it, and in fact I plan to buy a second one for a second home.

I bought this hand vacuum to replace a decade old Black & Decker hand vacuum, primarily because I knew it would be reliable. But they also made improvements, such as the power supply is built in. Still has great suction and the pivoting head is very easy to use. Love it!

This was exactly what I was looking for since my old Dust Buster finally quit doing a good job. I love the design of this cordless hand vac and the ease of using it and I love the color!!! Very clever design with adjustable nozzle positions and extendable crevice tool---so there are not many places where the dirt can hide!!! I would not have been happy if I had to pay full price but since it was on sale it was quite "doable"!!!

This vacuum has good suction power. I use it on both hard surfaces and carpets. A small brush on the end of the nozzle helps to loosen debris that may have stuck to the surface due to moisture or compression. There are two compartments where debris accumulates, one on each side. One side can be easily dumped by popping the door open. This side should be emptied with each use. The other side takes more work to clean because it has a paper filter that needs rinsing. I clean this compartment once a month.

I bought this hand vac when I moved into my new apartment. I have a full sized vacuum, but needed something smaller for quick jobs, and tight spaces - especially with a toddler in the house. This has done a great job.

I'm very satisfy with this handheld vacumer. Its so light and easy to use. I leave it in my bathroom just to vacum dirt and fallout hair. My mom visited and loved it so much that I will buy her one as a gift.

I love how easy it is to charge, store, clean and use this hand-vac! They pivoting nose makes it easy to use this vac in a variety of ways.

I like the cordless Hand Vac. Better constructed than most out there. Battery life could use some improvement. Black& Decker didn't forget anything. Easy to clean and very efficient

Even though it has a small holding capacity it is great for someone who wants a small, powerful, durable, and convenient vacuum. It is super powerful just let it fully charge before first use...you can't expect much power when not charged because it is so strong it will die if not charged but this vacuum is a great investment and perfect for tight spot cleaning or portable in car cleaning.

The vacuum does what I need it to do and the built in attachments are really useful. The main problem is the low battery life, since this thing is so powerful the battery runs down rather quick and I end up having to charge it after about 7-10 uses (Maybe more as I'm not the only one using it) The only other thing is the extended nozzle can be difficult to retract but that's not really a big problem once you figure it out.

Very good vaccum for cleaning the car and works great and also very easy to use on steps. Light weight and was a great deal with good suction.

Good powerful vacuum. enough for one car. after charging overnight runs for 20 mins. 20 mins are sufficient for cleaning of one car. Good machine at this price.

I am very pleased with this handheld vacuum. I have a one bedroom apartment with area rugs, and I use this to pick up excess dirt after sweeping and such. The suction works very well and the weight isn't heavy. I recommend this product.

I bought this mainly for my car. It pretty much cleaned my car. Not completely but good enough. The battery only last for less than 20 minutes. Still for something for a quick pick up clean. It does its job

This is a great little vacuum, doesn't take up a ton of space, it's cordless and portable and it's easy to use and clean. Great!
