The art direction in this movie is fantastic. The movie it self is good but I think over hyped.

Good movie with great action but over hyped. If you are not looking for pure entertainment and are looking for a movie with a political agenda this is for you. If you are looking to get away from the turmoil of the real world this is not for you. Entertaining with great action but had to knock it down a star due to the political agenda.

The entire family enjoyed this movie and it’s a must have for all Marvel fans collections!

A very good Marvel movie but not top five in my opinion. Michael B Jordan was great!!

What a great origin type movie! Even though we've been introduced to Black Panther in Civil War, this movie is unique because it's more of an origin movie of Wakanda itself. Even though the central focus is of T'Challa it never forgets about the people of Wakanda and what they stand for as an individual or as a tribe. It is a well executed movie. Video is superb in 4k, audio is wonderful specially the choice of music being played throughout the movie. As far as the steelbook packaging it's a very nice addition to the collection.

While not among my top MCU films, this is a pretty great film. One of the best villains in the MCU was shown here. They make him pretty human instead of just an evil villain. This film has a wonderful black cast that avoids the 'white savoir' trope, which is honestly needed more in black-culture films. I definitely enjoy the characters, environment, and story. However, the CGI is lacking a bit at times, which makes some fight scenes kind of unrealistic.

For a story that isn't widly know, they did a phenomenal job introducing the world to a great super hero / comic book isn't widly known. This film is filled with action and adventure, GREAT ACTORS portraying iconc comic book characters, and the story line is easy to follow; even if you have never read a comic before. Get it you won't be disappointed.

It is a very good addition to the Marvel franchise. Great characters and vivid cinematography.

Like all the other Marvel movies, pretty much the same action filled movie. Good for the family.

Black Panther was one of the best movies of the year. It introduced us to Wakanda, and it's culture, along with one of the most menacing a ruthless villains to ever appear in the MCU. The performances were all great, from Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa/Black Panther to Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger, who steals the show. The VFX were all spot on minus a couple of couple a scenes, the score also hits every note and the story opens up the MCU to big possibilities . Black Panther is definitely in the top 5 of best MCU movies.

The movie is not the best Marvel movie, but it is still very entertaining and watchable.

Black Panther had a lot of hype to live up to after his introduction in Captain America: Civil War, but his first solo film certainly delivers. Ryan Coogler does a great job showing off brand new cultures, locations, technology, and characters. While Boseman's T'Challa/Black Panther is the title star, the film does a great job of fleshing out many of his co-stars, namely Nyong'o's Nakia, Gurira's Okoye, Wright's Shuri, and Jordan's Killmonger.

Good movie, great special effects. Not the best in the Marvel universe, but good.

Black Panther is a fantastic origin film, introducing a great character in the Marvel universe, with a excellent script, cast, and director. Every single actor is completely on point, especially Michael B Jordan as the "villain" (and I put that in quotes, because you question how bad he really is, after all....) The cinematography is beautiful and the use of the colors to show Wakanda, needs to be seen on 4K with the biggest TV you can find. Marvel does it again. Already can't wait for the sequel!

Such a great film and the Steelbook art is fantastic. You can't go wrong with 4k either.

Needed this for my marvel collection. Need to watch it soon before captain marvel comes out

I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this movie. While most of the Marvel movies have been entertaining, this is the first that is genuinely Oscar-worthy. Everything from the plot to the characters to the music to the costuming to the direction and cinematography are all outstanding. I had stopped buying DVDs a couple of years ago, and there are not that many theater features I was interested in seeing more than once. But I was anxious to have this keepsake to enjoy this movie over and over.

Great acting, story and special effect. Can't wait for the next Black Panther movie.
