Black Panther [DVD] [2018]

The original never gets old. Great storytelling and cinematic imagery!

This is a great release. Not only is this a great film, but the first Steelbook release of Black Panther. If you’re a movie collector, you may be familiar with the Infinity Saga. This is the $600 release of all the MCU films, including Black Panther. The discs in this are a re-release of the Black Panther discs in the Infinity Saga, that are purple with faded Avengers symbols, and an unfaded Black Panther symbol. You should expect more re-releases for all the MCU films, and hopefully as beautiful artwork as this. This film also is the only film in the MCU to win Oscars. Enjoy this film, and the design.

Bought this to add to my growing marvel steelbook collection. Now one thing i wasn't as happy about is that it doesn't quite fit with the other newer best buy set. kinda looks like it in the picture but in had it's not quite there. Instead of a poster image art the others have it looks more like a oil painting on steel. That said though it fits in really well. The back and spine match perfectly with the other releases. Inside you get a 4K edition of the film and same Bluray version that was previously available. Overall i'm happy with the purchase and glad to add it to my Marvel collection. It's a must if you missed out on the first BP steelbook, or just wanting to add another variation.

Black Panther has always been one of my favorite Avengers characters. Chadwick Bozeman does an excellent portrayal of the King of Wakanda.He and his African tribe of warrior women with their advanced technology kick butt and leave no names left to be taken. I really cannot stand the Falcon as an Avenger and it was nice to see a real African warrior as an Avenger. I am looking forward to Avengers Infinity War when it comes out on 4K blu-ray and hopefully on steelbook like this one. See this movie!!!!

I was planning to buy the movie for a while, but when Chadwick passed I knew I had to just go ahead and get it. He was too iconic in his work and this film to not purchase it in memory of him. He really embodied one of my favorite superheroes better than anyone else could have.

The DVD was great. It was a very good action movie, The sets used made you feel like you were a part of the movie. The price paid was really good for a top rated Box Office Hit. The only thing I did not like is that some of the features on the HD and Blue Ray editions were not on the regular DVD. Also I understand that some of the scenes were missing on the regular DVD, from people who had seen the movie in the theater.

Black Panther is a fantastic film!! Chadwick Boseman embodies Prince T'Challa perfectly and Michael B. Jordan is amazing and perhaps the best villain ever in the MCU as Killmonger. Great supporting cast and stunning visuals along with an amazing story makes this movie a must have! I suggest you get the Steelbook like I did while supplies last. It's a beautiful cover and would look great in any collection!!!

I picked up my Black Panther 4K Steelbook on release and now, I’ve had the chance to check out all the features and the artwork on the casing itself. Such a beautiful and iconic “watercolor” painting of the King himself over a polished silver case. Beautiful character portraits found in the inside with a stunning shot of Wakanda’s landscape. Great buy! Definitely recommend it.
