Saw the movie, and I had to own it. The steelbook is pretty nice and the design is both simplistic and complex.

I bough this for my Friend that she is a really Huge Fan Of Black Panther so I went in and Bought it for her. :)

The action is awesome. It lived up to what I had been told I'm pleased. I'm gonna buy a copy for someone as a gift

Every movie Marvel comes out with is better than previous one and The Black Panther is no exception. Excellent Steel Book. Love the movie from start to finish. Purchased additional copies for Christmas Gifts (along with CA:CW & A:IW for the entire Black Panther experience.) Only thing left to do is purchase 3D copies of BP and A:IW to complete my Marvel movie collection. I'm a Marvel (and Black Panther) fan for life.

I was really hoping to enjoy having the steelbook version of this movie, but unfortunately it was shipped to me very damaged. Possibly the discs inside were damaged as well, however, I was unsure as I hadn't opened it up. Due to the limited supply, and of course it selling out in my area, I was unable to obtain a mint copy. I've been deeply disappointed, upset with not being able to enjoy having what I pre ordered in order to have the item I had wanted. I really wish Best Buy stepped up and had helped, but they didn't. It's really hard to trust them now with shipping and pre ordering items.

RIP Chadwick. Ma Man... He is what the black panther is. I can’t believe he passed away. That movie was so beautiful that it’s going to be a classic one day. A pride for his family & friends amongst other interesting projects that he has accomplished as an actor. ( Michael B Jordan) was so great in this film that he actually completed the Days of our lives like telenovela family drama. It’s a SiFi yes. But it’s captivating it sucks you in to a world of avatar like existence. A mental get away from a harsh polluted reality we call the real world today.

You gotta hand it Kevin Feige/Marvel Studios: so far, they've been great at taking many of Marvel's lesser-known (to the general public) characters, and making them into something you want to watch. I never read any of Black Panther's adventures in the comics growing up (I was a DC guy, so the only Marvel heroes I read were the biggies like Spider-Man and Fantastic Four), but I must say Marvel made a really good movie here. For others who are new to this character, I recommend you watch "Captain America: Civil War" first, as that film introduces this character to Marvel's Cinematic Universe. The blu-ray itself is excellent. No technical issues I'm aware of.

Black Panther stands proudly as unique and distinct from the rest of the franchise because it fully and openly embraces the sociopolitical issues informing the plot. Making it the best, unrivaled and significant installment of the entire series, Ryan Coogler's film is, quite frankly, a work of genius, redressing the gross misrepresentation of minorities in the superhero genre and speaking directly to the heart of that community. Coogler confronts issues of globalization, colonization, the unfortunate lasting legacy of America's history with slavery and, most notably, black identity in the 21st Century. Chadwick Boseman gives an a amazing as T'Challa.

While this movie released at a time building to some of the civil unrest we have seen this year, Black Panther is a great movie on many levels. While on the one hand Black Panther is an African-American superhero, he is also a great character with so many great supporting actors and actresses. I'm really looking forward to the sequel as this movie (like many Marvel movies) can easily stand alone as it's own movie without watching any of the others. It's an absolute shame Chadwick Boseman is no longer with us, as he was a truly great actor and even better, a great man. If you haven't experienced this movie yet, I highly recommend grabbing it now, you won't be disappointed.

At first we all think its sort of titled so white people might not go for it , But its not about the black panthers group as such in the gang related way . It too has a large amount of special effects going on through the film and their implementation is done correctly . I just love spacey sci-fi movies and when the characters have such a connection to each other and the surroundings its a perfect match and works to provide a high degree of entertainment with some whimsy too.

I normally don't buy movies and normally don't see super hero movies. When Mr. Boseman passed I noticed a lot of social media posts about how much this film meant to so many people so I decided to see for myself. Black Panther is well worth the money and time especially in the highest definition you can run as everything is as beautiful as it gets in Wakanda. The costume work was stunning, the city itself is beautiful and the actors all were amazing. It's a movie I can watch again and again which is very rare for me. I don't want to give anything away on the story but I enjoyed it. Know that. My steelbook was dented which was unfortunate. Still, 5 stars all day.

Picture quality is amazing on dolby vision but the dolby atmos sound really sucks don't know what has happen with the sound engineers of this movie , i prefered the dolby digital plus sound is more deep and loud perfect 7.1

unfortunately the 3d version I got internationally didnt include digital code so I purchased this for the code, its a great moving movie and its hard to watch thinking about what Chadwick went through during filming. RIP CB!

Black Panther is Marvel’s new installment in their Phase 3 of the anthology. This movie was really good. It felt more like a comic book/superhero movie than most of the other ones. Every character had great development and had a good purpose. They weren’t some character thrown in that wasn’t strong at all (ex: Darren Cross/Yellowjacket in Ant-Man). I really liked Michael B. Jordan and Andy Serkis as the main antagonists, more Michael though. Andy had a lot of fun with his role and was one of the best parts of the film. Michael did excellent with his part as Erik Killmonger. He had great development and you could see his perspective of things. He wasn’t just a bad guy they were up against, he was another character that you could feel for. I love Letitia Wright as Shuri. She was hilarious and such an interesting character. Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa was amazing. He was perfect for the role. I knew he was going to do great ever since Captain America: Civil War. The score by Ludwig Göransson was really good. The effects in the movie were pretty good, however there were some parts where they looked kind of incomplete. I really liked the cinematography in the movie. There was lots of color to the film, except for a couple scenes where it was hard to see what was going on. For me, parts of the beginning felt just a little slow, buts that’s only because they had to setup. Other than that I thought Black Panther was a movie Marvel needed and a great new face for superhero films. It is my third favorite Marvel movie now (1 being Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2 being Captain America: The Winter Soldier).
