Coogler and co. allow us to work through their grief with them in this sometimes overlong and sometimes overstuffed sequel. That said, the ambition and scale is impressive with Coogler extending the themes of the first film into a more complex gray area with Shuri and Namor. The loss of Boseman is obviously felt, but how this feeds into Shuri’s journey and how this compares/contrasts with Namor’s arc enhances the grief and rage both are working through. The CGI is much better (mostly) and the sound, score, costumes, and performances are all at level 11. Coogler weaves in larger MCU obligations more seamlessly than anyone else. Riri Williams didn’t have to be here, but Coogler makes it so we can’t imagine the film without her. If it drags, it drags in the middle, but despite the circumstances and demands Wakanda Forever remains cohesive. The Steelbook edition is the best for any movie collection! Besides being sturdy, it is always stylish. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was, in my opinion, very disappointing. Being a follower of the Namor character since my childhood (mostly in the Fantastic Four comics), I was expecting him to be a much better antihero than was shown. While the storyline provided an ending that could redeem the Black Panther label in future movies, the presentation of Namor and his alternative existence (not much at all like the Atlantean Namor of the comics) caused me to wish that the MCU had waited for a Fantastic Four movie to introduce him. This was, unfortunately, near the bottom of all MCU movies I have watched, in my opinion. Several other movies that others have stated were 'bad' in the MCU, rank much higher in my book.

Excellent movie. The tribute to Chadwick Boseman was beautifully done and is closer for his cast mates & fans of the series. Great story, great action, great action. Of if the best in the MCU.

This is such a fantastic movie I felt compelled to buy both Best Buy Steelbooks of the movie. The movie is a must watch and these Steelbooks are a must own. Don't miss out.

Love this movie! Best Buy is closing out sale of DVDs (tragic in my opinion) so the sale price on this was great. I bought two for my library! The only problem is that when these titles go on close-out sale , they disappear fast! Some titles I could not get because the prices were so great, they were all gone. I will really miss buying DVDs on BestBuy.

Great action packed movie but also with a story to tell and the feelings and emotions in the movie

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I absolutely love the storyline—the way it blends action, emotion, and powerful themes makes it unforgettable. My only regret is that Chadwick Boseman left us far too soon. It’s heartbreaking to think about the incredible performances we missed out on, especially seeing him reprise his role in this sequel. He brought so much depth and charisma to the character, and it would’ve been amazing to witness where he could have taken it next. His legacy lives on, but I’ll always wonder what could have been.
