The second season picks up where the last season ended. Remains an excellent adventure. However, I wouldn't purchase season 2 unless I had watched season 1...the background from Season 1 is very important to fully understanding season 2.

This series is loosely based on historical characters, mashed up against all the fictional characters we remember from our childhood, presented in a way that just makes sense and; is very entertaining in the process/

This show is one of the better premium cable shows and I enjoy the way they meld history and fantasy. It's like an adult version of Pirates of the Caribbean without the supernatural element. Definitely worth watching.

I can finally catch up on Black Sails on my own time. We need more pirate drama in a world flooded with vampires and werewolves.

Black Sails Season 2 This is a good series. The series is well produced, with strong writing, actors that bring the characters to life, and some good twists & turns in the plots. Looking forward to season 3.

The second season fleshes out the characters we were introduced to in season 1. We slowly begin to learn the back stories, like an onion peeling. Seems to be building to... something big!

After the cliffhanger of season 1, season 2 does more than satisfy the viewer for suspenseful storytelling, brilliant acting, and fantastic cinematography. It is the pirate's version of Game of Thrones!

It's a new twist on how thing were during the pirate era. Great acting and story line. It's worth you're time to watch this series. However keep the kids out of the room while you view this.

I bought the 1st season a couple weeks ago I will be getting season 3 very soon. I do not watch much tv but someone I know said I should try it and I am so glad I did I love it

This show was a real surprise it is just a must see for anyone who likes quality and I was never a pirate fan before but with this show I make a true exception. The story, cast and locations are great it has become one of my top10 favorites.

I have been wanting to see this show since it was released. I was so happy to find both season 1 and season 2 at Best Buy. Both were reasonably priced and an excellent show to boot.

What a awesome deal i was able to get this movie for on Black Friday. Best Buy always give great pricing on there products. I do not shop at any store for my DVD movies.

This is a fun series to watch. Vane and Flint are still at odds, or are they? The treasure still up in the air. More drama unfolding,this series gets better and better.

The first season was a bit slow ,but it gets really interested after the last episode,the second season starts much better,I'm by the 3rd episode and gets really good.

I love this series and cannot wait until the new one starts. The characters are amazing to follow and the plot twist at the end of the second series had me wanting to see more

If you enjoyed the first season of Black Sails, you will love Season 2. Captivating storyline, and insights into some of the main characters. A lot of twists and turns.

Wow I hadn't paid attention to the Starz series Black Sails... what a mistake..hey it's about pirates what's not to like..but the characters and story line are really top notch not to mention the beautiful tropical scenery !!
