Okay, a movie about rampaging scorpions in Mexico from the 1950's. Hokey? Yes...Great acting? Not exactly...What this film does have is some (limited) stop-motion animation "supervised" by Willis O'Brien who did the effects for the original King Kong (1933) and Mighty Joe Young (1949). This movie is not high art; it will not stay with you after you leave the couch, but it is fun and entertaining...

The picture quality & sound are excellent. The extras are a must have. You'll see test footage for "Las Vegas Monster" & "Beetle Men" plus the dinosaur segment from "The Animal World".

A good, if unspectacular addition to Willis O’Brien’s stop motion filmography
