I really liked what I was able to use on the device and I wanted to love it but it's a T-Mobile branded phone. I ordered the "unlocked phine0 at least that's what it said in the description. The phone itself doesn't state T-Mobile but when you power the device on, T-Mobile shows up and there are stock T-Mobile software on the device. I called Bestbuy and they said we apologize and reshipped me another phone only to be T-Mobile branded also. Great device but shipper and Bestbuy needs to work on better descriptions. Decieving customers is horrible. I would not recommend buying the device from Bestbuy or the third parter shipper.

I am a professional on the go. The Blackberry Hub and the excellent physical keyboard make this phone a productivity beast. I can breeze through hundreds of emails a day. This phone makes the iPhone look like a toy. The search feature is fantastic and I rarely have any typos using the physicial keyboard. Love the way my sent items and received items all show in the same mailbox. No more switching back and forth between inbox and sent items to figure out whether and to whom a response was sent. This phone also looks like a professional device, not a toy when it is sitting a conference table. This phone also has all the Google Apps, so you can be productive through Blackberry and enjoy the Apps at the same time! Hands down best phone I ever owned. Period.

Bought this unlocked from Best Buy. I really wanted a physical keyboard and it was hard to find a full slide out anywhere with a decent provider so I went unlocked and replaced my 7 year old T Mobile My Touch Q. Once it arrived I took it to T mobile and they transferred my number - everything went great. The keyboard keys are a bit small but they work much better than the virtual keyboard which is hard to type accurately with. The Blackberry Hub is great because I get all my emails and messages in one place. Once I downloaded the Marshmellow update the battery life extended like crazy, My phone does not need to be charged for 36 hours. Because of the Priv's security features you can't just plug in a USB and transfer data to your computer. You will need to look up a guide online and disable and change a few things on your phone first. You can also create different kinds of locks from a swipe to a picture, pin and fingerprint to keep your phone secure. Whatever I needed to learn I just looked up online as there are lots of enthusiastic Priv users. The only major carrier who has the Priv is Verizon but their plan is way expensive so I decided to buy the priv unlocked and transfer my T Mobile number. If I was going to pick one thing I don't like it would be the alarm. It is hard to figure out how to turn it off but that is a minor complaint. I highly recommend this phone!!

    The best of both worlds

I was a long-time BlackBerry and Palm user and had more or less given up on having a high-end phone with a physical keyboard running Android. Then the Priv happened. Fantastic battery life, gorgeous display, great camera, a physical keyboard, and access to Google Play. This is what I wanted from BlackBerry about three years ago, and it's finally here!

    Best Android Device

Blackberry has somehow taken their software and layered it into the bare Android O/S. The display on this device is stunning. The front facing speaker is also wonderful and the speakerphone is probably one of the best. The build quality of this device is remarkable. I now remember why Blackberry was king for so long. And, the extra's like a dedicated "mute" button, brilliant.

I like the physical keyboard, very easy to use. The display is crystal clear, no problem for running multi programs at the same time. Need to recharge the battery every two days, but charging is quick, about 1 to 2 hours.

I bought this mobile because of good rating....but my bad the phone I received is a useless one...every day I am facing different issues. 1. Performance is very bad. Have to wait for 5 to 10 seconds to get them keypad. 2. In a day the mobile is hanging minimum 4 times. 3. Overheating in 15 minutes 4. Google Map, chrome, camera and few more apps are not working most of the time.... It has taken 20 minutes to type this comment... Its irritating to continue....

BlackBerry is great. Best Buy Problems

Love my BB Priv. Previously had LG G4 that had issues so I had to turn it in using my Geeksquad warranty. Paid $149 for the warranty. Had to pay another $149 deductible. Selected the Priv online unlocked. Wouldn't work with my carrier. Contacted BlackBerry for refund. Only store credit. Bought phone at Verizon.

Massive hardware failure in less than two weeks

Worked well for two weeks, then the screen went black. Blackberry "support" had me try a reset, but then said it was a hardware failure. Blackberry could tell from the IMEI that it wasn't a direct purchase, which it couldn't have been because Blackberry doesn't sell directly to individual U.S. customers. They told me I must contact my "point of purchase" for assistance. Of course, it died on day 15 after purchase, and Best Buy has only a 14-day return policy.
