I purchased this strap to use with my Canon 80D and 100-400 lens. The lens makes my camera extremely heavy but this strap makes it effortless to carry the camera for long periods of time. It is also important to note that I am a female and the way the strap lays across my chest is perfect. It's hard to find a comfortable strap but my Black Rapid has become necessary to me when I am traveling with my camera. It made my 2 week trip through Alaska much easier as my camera was ALWAYS within my reach!

This strap made carrying the camera around Iceland a breeze. It felt like the camera wasn't event there and I loved that if my hands slipped the strap would catch the camera.

If you're like me, the investments on a DSLR and lenses are made with the best of intentions and the last thing you'd want is your expensive and sensitive equipment to fall, and be damaged. Although the price is fairly steep, this product is great for many reasons. Aside from securing the DSLR body with a screw connection, the comfortable and adjustable over-the-shoulder padded holster is worth the investment...especially after a long day of site-seeing and photographing. The under-the-arm adjustable strap adds an extra level of support for the DSLR and comes in handy when looking to stabilize the camera (when shooting without a tripod). I would recommend the product and just remind you that for a percentage of the larger investment made on the DSLR and lenses, your camera will be safe and you will be comfortable as you go about documenting everything you find interesting through your view-finder.

Works so much better than restricted camera strap around neck or hanging iftoff your shoulder waiting to be knocked off. Adjusted correctly and checked, this is a very stable and secure way to secure camera off your shoulder and be able to quickly grab to get that shot!

This camera holder is very comfortable. Easy adjustments from taking pictures to just carrying out of the way.

I think this strap feels great on perfect for days where you’re shooting all day. Very useful if you’re shooting weddings or even out on a hike. The only downside to this is the time it takes to remove your camera and adjusting the straps itself. It can take a long time. I know they did upgrade the lock to avoid any mishaps, which I appreciate. Overall can you do without this strap, yes. It’s not a necessity, I’m not in love with it because I feel like a regular strap could do the same thing. Not too impressed, just an ok 3 star rating from me.

A salesperson was wearing one of these straps and recommend it or I wouldn't have known about this product. Works very well for carrying a camera and lens like a 100-400mm by the tripod foot. And you can grab it at a moment's notice. Wish I had bought this sooner.

I have heavy camera and a heavy lens, once I started using the blackrapid, carrying my camera became so easy. I used to struggle with carrying my camera and used to not take it everywhere. Now, it's no problem.

Neck straps annoy me, camera cases are bulky, but this Black Rapid camera strap is so comfortable to wear and convenient for quickly grabbing a shot without fumbling.

This is great for people who wear cameras for long periods of time and need to take pressure off of their neck/back.

Feel very secure with this camera strap attached while on vacation abroad. Very easy to quickly grab your camera and shoot.

Cannot hang anything around my neck and although it took me a while to figure out how to put it on it's perfect for my needs.

This strap is fantastic. I should have bought it years ago. It makes my heavy lenses feel like nothing.

This strap is so much more comfortable to use than the strap that comes with the camera. I'm so glad that one of the associates was wearing one!! I have problems with my neck and shoulders and using the strap that comes with the camera just makes my neck / shoulders hurt more. This strap is padded on the shoulder and the weight is more to the outside of the shoulder. This is one of the best purchases I made

Works awesome for me and never having to hold the camera always!

It took me a while to figure out how to use this but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. Highly recommend for hands-free camera carrying.
