This is an excellent 4k movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionados.The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy.

Absolutely gorgeous transfer and the main audio track thumps. I've owned every version of this movie that has been released and this one is just amazing.

Blade saved Marvel from bankruptcy and I see why. This movie is still dope to watch in 2025. A true classic

Blade has received an excellent 4k release both from a visual standpoint and especially an audio standpoint. The opening scene in the underground venue has never looked or sounded better. The movie itself has aged well overall aside from a handful of heavy cgi scenes that were typical from that time period, but the action is among the best you will see of any comic-related movie even to this day. Worth a buy for a first time viewer or someone looking to revisit one of the earliest of Marvel's successes in cinema.

I always enjoy watching movies that I've grown up with in my youth. I watched Blade time and time again in the comfort of my own home countless times and never once have I been unsatisfied. It's a great movie to have. Wesley Snipes being probably the best portrayer for the protagonist, you know the lead is going to have you sitting and watching from start to finish. Special effects though visibly identified in the few areas it is, even now they stand tall as still quite effective. Liquid blood cgi or liquid cgi animating is hard in and of itself especially in 1998. But overall with the other areas of cgi, it holds true even today. The entire subway scene starts and finishes with you still thinking the train running along the railway during the fight scene was completely real even being ALL special effects! A strong adaptation to the Marvel comic Blade that gives it a more modern and down to earth feel and creating a dark element. I always found this to be better as a colorful and 80s looking Blade though may look good in Comics and if done right on film would be appealing, doing so would certainly ruin the overall dark feel of the environment around you. Overall, I give credit to Blade for being a step in the right direction for Marvel in their time of multiple flopping live action films that came before it. I only wish that Blade was picked up again to be incorporated into the MCU as a full blown episodic series like Daredevil or Luke Cage.

As it goes, I've owned several different physical media copies of this movie... but since the 4K was finally at a decent price... I purchased it (10/05/23). Looking forward to rewatching it in 4K soon! This edition did include a surprise digital copy... however it expired on 12/31/22 and WB no longer honors it. This really surprised me, as the studios have long honored the digital codes long after expiration (and this was just 10 months ago)... but apparently WB has stopped. The digital copy streaming will never look better than the physical media 4K disc... so long live physical media! The Best Buy listing/specs didn't show a digital code included, so no frustrations from me. It would have been a nice bonus had the code still worked.

The fight scenes are nice in 4k you can see it so clearly the red from the blood scenes pop with the hrd blade car looks so good in 4k and his costume shows all the details a good action packed movie

I bought this when the Black Friday sales were going on and were surprised to get this with a slipcover. This is definitely worth the upgrade to 4K if you have the blu-ray version. This film does show its age somewhat with some unimpressive CGI but it is a great film with lots of great action, vampire lore, and an interesting storyline. This film doesn't get the appreciation that it should because without this film being made then there would be no Marvel or Superhero/Comic Book films being made today. It was the beginning of the Comic Book Heroes! I hope that we get the other two on 4K, too!!

This is must to own for any movie collector. Plus who doesn't like Vampires. Visuals in this movie are AMAZING plus dope as Soundtrack. I wish this came out on Steelbook.

It's a fun, gory and action packed film. Snipes is great as the lead. The ending is almost totally ruined by laughable CGI... even by 1998 standards. It's a nice step up from the old blu-ray. The audio has always been top notch and now it's in Atmos. This is a great popcorn movie

Blade, a classic action movie, a classic comic book movie, and a true innovator, having paved the way for the X-Men movies and of course the MCU that would arrive years later. If you have never seen it, it's a must watch, as it's a great action movie and a great vampire movie. Blade is essentially John Shaft if he were a vampire hunter. It's even cooler than it sounds. The video and audio upgrade is superb, and very much the best way to watch the movie. The only downside is it's lacking in special features, and they should have added more for this new release. Essentially you are getting the same minimal features you got back on the DVD release and that's it. Otherwise it's a good product.

Blade on 4k is totally awesome. The physical disk is far superior than streaming the movie.

Beautiful 4k quality and dolby sound. Only problem was there was an expired digital code within. I dont mind as i am a hardcore physical media collector but it is still mildly disappointing.

A must watch for any marvel fan I think. Blade never gets enough love

One of Wesley Snipes' best roles stands up to this day. A lesser Marvel movie and some hokey CGI but overall a lot of fun. The disc looks and sounds great. Pick it up
