Am I supposed to review the product itself or the movie? The movie is great. If you are a fan of the original Blade Runner, you will enjoy this. Great effects. Great musical score. Love it. The product itself is okay. Plastic packaging, paper inserts. Meh.

Blade Runner 2049 is a very good sequel to one of my favorite all time movies. I saw it in the theatres but it is complex with many references back to the original BUT a very new take. As with the original (which I most definatly recommend seeing first-the Final Cut) it needs more than one viewing.

I grew up with the original Blade Runner, and as a serous Sci-Fi fan, purchasing this film was a no brainer. In addition, I'm a hard-core Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford fan. Some people might view that as an unfavorable bias to this review. However, the bottom line is, this film is worth your time.

If you don't enjoy it the first time, try it a second. The story line really started to reveal itself much more clearly on second viewing for me. Very complex undertones leaving you with more questions than answers yet very satisfying and enjoyable. I would have rated it 2 stars had I only seen it once.

Great picture, but sound is a bit soft and I was disappointed with the overall sound production. Based on previous review of Blade Runner, very dark theme, but not as depressing as the original. Music is better and while both have good plots, this plot moved forward better and I thought was better overall.

If you're looking for a demo disc to show off your 4K and Dolby Atmos setup, THIS is the disc to buy. That's not to even mention that the film itself is awesome. Great acting by the entire cast, and beautifully captured by the DP and the Director.

Not as good as the original...a bit slow-moving. But, I enjoy having it in my collection.

This is a quality sequel to a quality movie. It truly amazes me that after more than 20 years they recreated the scenery and feel of the original. The story is creative and captivating and if you are a fan of the original, you will definitely like this one!

This film is a proper 4K transfer and was transferred in native 4K (NO upscale thankfully), however they didn't alter the aspect ratio of the film as they did for digital IMAX theaters, sadly including the classic letterbox look. However the disc contains Dolby Atmos codex and sounds phenomenal.

Beautiful steelbook package for a stunning masterpiece. Worth every penny. The 4K video/audio presentation is awe-inspiring and perfect. Some decent extras here but not too much. This film will have a long afterlife and I'm thrilled to own it in a definitive 4K steelbook package. Highly recommended!

It was really hard locating this in 3D at a Best Buy Store. I am so glad I was lucky enough to pick one up before they sold out. I Loved it in 3D. I am such a fan that I also purchased it in 4K! I think it will become just a much of a classic as the original Blade Runner, which I have in 4k also.

This movie is just as futuristic as the first. Except this time around the main character (Ryan Reynolds), is trying to figure out his past. It is quite interesting how they integrated the old movie (with Harrison Ford who guest stars in the movie). Enjoyed the movie but was a bit slow for my liking.

Had to watch this movie multiple times to really appreciate its entirety. 1st time it was ok and was intrigued. 4k really did bring out the artistry. Great story, timeline way off. But it's a sci-fi movie

I didn't get a chance to see this movie in the theaters, however, I'm a fan of the original and wanted to see what the new version was all about. I would say that not only is the movie great, but the audio/video quality in 4K is amazing plus it comes in a limited edition SteelBook packaging!

The sound track of this movie gives my HT system a great workout. It is a great follow up to the first film and is extremely well done. A great cast with excellent acting and enjoyable story line. The visuals in this film are great and 4K makes it awesome.

Blade Runner 2049 does a really good job of continuing the story of the original movie. The way this film, which came out 30 years after the first one, captures the same tone and moods as the first is uncanny. The story kept me guessing the whole time and there were more than enough twists and surprises to keep me interested. Certainly worth the time to watch!

I waited to see this on 4k for the first time and wow i understand why people adore this movie! Such an amazing and beautiful film! Dennis Vellenuie has done it again

This movie visually looked really good, especially in 4K. That was the biggest take away for me is how good it looked. The rest of the film I didn't really care to much for. Though I'm pretty sure I am in the minority who didn't really like the first Blade Runner. I also expected Harrison Ford to have a slightly bigger role.

If your a longtime fan of the first bladerunner cult classic, you will love this next installment. The characters, storyline and special effects honor the first bladerunner movie accurately. The plot has interesting twists to keep you guessing and some tragedies as well. Well worth getting.

I wasnt a fan of the original (i know i know i get shamed by nerds in the forums). My one friend really enjoyed the movie and stressed i should give it a chance. I did and i will say if you like the original you will love this one and if you werent a big fan of the original then you will probably like this one even better. This is a must see for sci fi lovers
