Definitely a slow movie, but a great build up. Cinematic masterpiece. My home theater got a good workout and my Oled strengths were all showing. I hope there is a sequel.

In addition to being a good story, I am always wowed at the color and sound in Blade Runner. So glad I got the 4k HDR edition. Streaming looks potato quality by comparison.

Am a big fan of the original Blade Runner, and really enjoyed this iteration in the theater. Purchased the 4K version, and while it is definitely a crisp picture, some of the scenes seem a bit more washed out than I would have expected (I have a TV with full HDR support and am using an Xbox One X as the player). It's possible some of my overall contrast settings are affecting the picture, however I would still recommend this to others. Great film.

I was watching this and was confused why I was in it. It is literally me and Ana De Armas just wandering around some dystopian future. In all seriousness movie rules dude.

This movie is amazing, it's in my top 10. The exploration of what it means to be human from a synthetic humans perspective is amazing. The visuals are stunning as well, the color palate is very well chosen. The performances are strong and the theme is amazing. if you're a fan of the original blade runner you won't be disappointed.

This highly anticipated follow-up to 1982's Blade Runner delivers the goods in all respects. While remaining true to the original vision it take the evolution of the concept to another level. Overly long for some but for fans it plays to its strengths in satisfying ways. The image is gorgeous and the soundtrack is spot on.

Produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Denis Villeneuve, this film is a worthy sequel to a classic masterpiece of film making. Denis really kept the film visually stunning and within the established Blade Runner universe. Sound is also amazing in this film. The 4K UHD is just a wonderful disc to own for any Blade Runner fan.

A must see follow up to the original Blade Runner(1982). For fans of the original or even a sci-fi fan in general should appreciate the superb visuals and special effects in the film, which deservedly won the academy award for best special effects. It looks very dynamic on 4K along with a latest stereo system. Highly recommended.

Great addition to the story from the original. I like the original better but 2049 is right there. Of course the visuals & sound are phenomenal! Recommend if you are a fan of the original.

Awesome movie I really loved this sequel! A beautiful closure to a cult classic that really should be a household cinema classic.

This isn't a movie review. You can read that elsewhere. The 4k picture quality is incredible if you are willing to fuss with your settings. Special features are somewhat lacking and is only included on the Bluray disc. As the title suggests, it is an amazing rendering of just an okay movie. Your library deserves better unless you really need the 4k version sequel to Harrison Ford cult classic.

I originally saw this in the theater and thought it was ok. After watching reviews about the quality of picture and sound I had to get it and watch again. The picture is razor sharp and ther sound is amazing on my recent upgrade to 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos. It is definitely an upgrade from the theater in my opinion.

I am a huge fan of the original Blade Runner movie and it will always be among my favorites of all time. This 2049 version actually impressed me with the story line and the fact that they brought back Harrison Ford in his character. Great action, CGI and visual effects. You won't regret this choice.

I really enjoyed this movie. The movie is really dark so the 3D doesn't pop as well as it could but in certain parts of the movie there are some really cool effects. I just wish it wasn't so hit and miss. If you are really into 3D it's worth getting but the movie doesn't benefit greatly from 3D.

OK, the plot is a bit loose, and can't compare to the classic film that preceded it. But Harrison Ford is great, action abounds, plenty of weirdness (as when the blade runner crashes his car and visits an Apple iPhone factory of the future). Ana deArmas is quite captivating, too. Make a bunch of popcorn and run the BR Final Cut, then BR 2049, for a great evening's entertainment.

If you liked the first one you need this one. Well done, long movie but keeps you entertained.

If you love Blade Runner, this should be a no-brainer. Authentic follow-up to the original. Pace is fluid, but not what many modern or younger movie consumers are used to. Some may find the film a little obtuse, but all the information to understand the story is presented, but one may find greater understanding and appreciation through multiple viewings and study. Cinematographer Roger Deakins work is breathtaking and dovetails nicely with Jordan Cronenweth's work on the original, while expanding on the theme and accounting for changes in the environment and climate of the 2049 in the story. It's a great excuse to pick up a 4k smart TV and UHD player (which I did- see my other reviews). Extras were ok, but it's hard to touch the deluxe Blu-ray edition of Blade Runner from about 10 years ago. One thing to note: this was my first UHD 4k disc. Initially, I could not get the disc to play. After some frustration and blame toward faulty disc- a tiny, partial, finger print near the edge of the disc was the actual culprit. I would surmise that UHD discs are data dense and require extra care and are much less forgiving to smudges and debris then Blu-ray or DVD media. Keep a clean microfiber cloth nearby. I recommend this movie and purchase.
