With the slew of sequels and reboots, I was cautiously optimistic about the new Blade Runner movie. Approaching it with lowish expectations, I have to say that I was pleased with what I saw. The story was worth telling, and the presentation certainly carried the story well. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.

Great film, great 4K transfer, audio & picture quality is amazing! Lucky I found one as they only had 2 in the store and I was there when they opened. Best Buy needs to provide more of these steel books in store rather than simply for online purchases.

If you liked the first Blade Runner movie then this is a must to follow up on the story. 4K is excellent. Quick delivery from Best Buy and a very low price. Thank You Best Buy!

I was never the biggest fan of the original but I tend to enjoy it. When I was first watching this I instantly loved it. It, in my opinion, is better than the original and much more easy to understand. The cinematography is breathtaking.

Not only is Blade Runner 2049 an excellent movie, the Atmos mix is one of the best. The sound field in this mix is absolutely huge. If you have an Atmos setup, you need this movie.

Good action and special effects. Film was too long and at times boring.

I ordered this movie. It came promptly. For some reason the digital code that I received was already used but the copy of the movie I received was unopened. Quite Strange. If you care also about having the digital code don't buy it from here.

Favorite movie of all time! It is beautiful, gripping, and all-together a masterpiece in film making from Villenueve.

If you liked Blade Runner you will like Blade Runner 2049. This Blu Ray transfer is excellent and wonderful to watch. Nothing can beat seeing a film like this on the big screen at a movie theater but this Blu Ray is the next best thing for home entertainment.

Blade Runner (original) is one of my all-time fave films. I was doubtful when I read a sequel was being made. Well, they succeeded in making a worthy follow-up. This is an excellent film that gets better with each viewing. Highly recommended.

I did not have high hopes for this movie to be any good, so I was very surprised to find out that it was not only good, but is a great movie in its own right. Ingenious story, great acting, and astonishing visuals. Highly recommended.

This movie continues the story of the original. Very lush and vibrant effects and sets immerse you in the story. Harrison Ford is spectacular returning as Deckard. Just sit back and enjoy this one, it's more than just a popcorn movie.

If you liked the visual effects and settings of the first movie, you will love this one. The story was solid good, but due to my guessing the plot twist before it happened, was maybe a little predictable. Still an excellent movie to see and made me want to go back and watch the first one all over again.

A great movie. It picks up a couple decades following the original Blade Runner. Great visuals, an ethereal soundtrack, and a great store make for an immersive experience. Enjoy!

The 3d in this won't blow you away but is definitely enjoyable. Very happy Best buy was able to pickup this exclusive 3d release and hope to see them pick up more of them. It's a shame the 3D format isn't being widely supported over here in the US as it is overseas but glad Best buy was able to get this for us.

Slow burn like the first one. Still,, great performances and visuals

Denis Villeneuve brings his world-building vision to the big screen in a brilliant sequel that expands the mythology of the Blade Runner universe that Ridley Scott began decades ago. I appreciate the original film more now because of the sequel.

I didn't know what to expect from the sequel, being that I am an avid fan of the original. This is an incredible film, which I could talk about for hours. Gorgeous, mysterious, challenging, and surprisingly heart-tugging. Highly recommended.

Not to give it away, but you get a better understanding of the view from the side of the blade runner, why, what, how, who, and where to go as a life goes. Why terminate etc. Well done movie, it really adds to the original without issues.

It is very rare that a sequel reach the level of the original film, but Blade Runner 2049 has achieved that and more. Very impressive outing by the director who gave us Arrival, placing Denis Villeneuve definitely a director to follow closely.
