I was 12 years old when this movie was released, and even with the lame narration(that the studio forced Harrison Ford to record) and special effects flaws, I thought it was a masterpiece. This Final Cut is Ridley Scott’s true vision and all the mistakes are corrected to perfection.

The Final Cut with the 4K picutee really enhancrs this film to its true Sci Fi potential. For Sci Fi fans, this movie is a must own

Great movie, looking even better in 4k. The film wasnt rescanned in 4k, though, so its more an upscale. Still, good stuff.

This is a great transfer on 4K Bluray compared to some releases. No DNR and the colors are as vibrant as they ought to be.

Blade Runner fans rejoice. This remaster in 4k is stunning in sound and picture. I was a bit concerned the added detail would ruin the moody softness of the original, but this remaster is just beautiful to watch and experience this masterpiece of this genre of film. Bravo!

Some grain still to film but an older film so okay with that. Generally a really nice transfer and sound is amazing

This is a really good movie and I cant believe I finally watched this for the first time after so many years. I bought this before watching Blade Runner 2049 and glad I did. This is a definite keeper and I may get it in 4k. I really feel for replicants in this franchise and can sympathize for their struggle of acceptance, and equality. After watching both movies, I ask, what does it mean to be human?

This is the best film i have ever seen on 4k. This blows away every and any version of this film.

This is probably the best Blade Runner has ever looked, so if you're a fan of the original, this is a must pick-up. Great audio and picture quality and true demo material. Very thought-provoking themes make me want to re-watch, and I hope to soon!

This review is solely for the 4K disc and blu day as I have not watched the special features. The movie was previously remastered for the blu ray release and the UHD disc features a 2160p 16:9 2:4:1 presentation. I was impressed by the detail of the landscape shots and the actors. If you already own the blu Ray special edition release I would be hard pressed to recommend a repurchase as there just isn’t that much more detail to pull from the original film. Edges look a little harder with sharper lines but wether or not that justifies the upgrade depends on the buyer. I did notice a more detailed sound stage on my 5.1 home theater. If you want the ultimate presentation of this movie and have the right equipment I definitely think it’s worth the purchase. If you are already an owner of the blu ray and will be watching with a sound bar I don’t think it warrants a rebuy for the resolution bump and hdr.

This movie changed the way film is being made now into the noir vision such as the dark knight took the same style of this film. Its worth the buy of the movie but it does not include the digital version which is the downside.
