I personally feel that this series is one of the better Fighting anime out there. I have watched other shows (Dragon Ball & Naruto), but always felt this show to be superior. That said, I am referring to the Manga story line...not the filler seasons. The show has the perfect balance of action, comedy, suspense and seriousness. Honestly, this was an unnecessary purchase. I already own the series on DVD. However, the sound and video quality is better. I can now look to sell or give away my DVD set which will open up more space on my shelf.

I am so happy that they finally put Bleach on a Blu Ray. My only complaint is how few episodes actually make it into each box set. I know that is not Best Buy's fault, but it would be nice to have more episodes.

The blu ray set is in the original aspect ratio which is a huge relief. I hate the chopping some sets do like DBZ. The only bad thing here is the slip cover may be damaged in shipping.

I am a huge fan of Bleach and when I heard it was getting the blu-ray treatment I was very excited. It has been great re-watching the series and watching it in beautiful blu-ray!

Every episode looks just like new and the imagery looks crisp and cleaner than it did before. They should release Naruto on BD next! (fingers crossed).

It is glad to finally see Bleach be available for the first time on Blu-ray as the resolution is truly HD compared to the original DVD set.

I really love the bleach series it is amazing and funny and nice to watch brings back memories from the old toonami days.

For the prices it is and the fact you are getting 26 episodes its pretty good deal plus has great resolution

Bleach is good, this has 27 episodes the dvd version has 20.
