I have been wanting one of these blenders ever since Ellen gave them out on her talk show 2 years ago. Blendtec and Vitamix are the top guns when it comes to blenders but also share a steep price tag. I had to snatch this up when it was on sale!! I use it almost every day and never have to worry about the blade becoming dull or accidentally cutting myself since the "blade" has rounded edges and not sharp at all.

This item blends very well. I've blended multiple smoothies and have not yet been disappointed.

I love that the blades are not sharp. You don't have to worry about cutting your fingers.

I'll start off by saying that I wish Best Buy carried the 675 so I could get stainless steel. Otherwise, this is still a good blender and although pricey, keep in mind the 8 year warranty from Blendtec (which makes it well woth the price). Frozen fruits will still need to be thawed a bit first. If you try blend too much frozen fruit without thawing first, it will make an unusual noise and will not properly blend.

Blends everything without a plunger, it does a great job but for a price

It was a choice between a Vitamix and the Blendtec. At a recent healthy eating conference the subject of blenders came up and the consensus was that the Blendtec was superior. After a couple of months of use, primarily for making smoothies, I'm extremely happy with my purchase

Love the touch pad, makes fantastic smoothies. Smoothie feature is fantastic as is goes to multi speeds, no ice chunks. Would recommend spending the money if you are a big smoothie person.

Hi, I was looking for nice deal on Vitamix, saw this deal on blendtec on Best Buy page and came to know blendtec is its best competitor through internet. It's generating burning like smell even after 10 days of use, not breaking certain fruit seeds properly. Smoothies, drinks are not ready as per preset timer. You need to punch 2-3 times to make it complete. On positive side light weight, easy to clean, inlet provided on top to add water, no need to stir or mix with a stick. Of course if you get it for $150 or less makes it worth for its price.
