    bought this blender about 5 yrs ago. It worked well for a couple years but so noisy we had to wear ear protection. Shortly after that the bearings/seals (holding the blades) on both of our containers failed, making the blender even noisier and caused leaking of the contents all over the blender and counter top. Previous to this blender we had one that lasted over 20 years with no leakage.
