This is an incredible and creative film that takes issues you think you know all about and makes you think about them all over again. Who are we? What defines us? What do our homes and our cities say about us? And why do some people continue to get the short end of the billy club no matter how many times it’s proven that it’s not right? Authentic and in the tradition of the best in film and hip-hop culture, you owe yourself the discovery of this amazing film.

This movie is one of the best movies that I have seen in the last few years. For a movie that was in and out of theaters so fast it is absolutely amazing. The actress provides such a strong performance and the movie has a little bit of everything in it. I highly suggest this movie to add to your favorite Blu-ray collection or your movie vault. Highly recommended and A+

Its a shame this movie was snubbed at awards season. It definitely resonated with me. It was a new idea, not a remake or reboot or comic book movie. Its good writing, good acting, good directing and an extremely well put together film. Everyone ive shown this film to loves it. Do yourself a favor and check out this movie about growing in a changing world.

Well overlooked. Set in the streets of Oakland, a great representation of the bay area. it's a well thought out social commentary on police brutality vs. gentrification. Beautifully shot I was hooked from the start of the split screen intro. The overall message was to set aside differences and make peace. I loved it.

Highly recommend this movie - it's almost like "CRASH", but told from one point of view. Fittingly abstract and artistic at times. Addresses relevant sociological. societal, and cultural issues for its place and time.

Diggs and Casal have delivered a defining picture for this era. Beautiful writing, beautiful direction, beautiful performances. I cannot say enough about this movie. You must see it. Right this second.

This movie is apart of my list of favorite movies. I absolutely love the concept and the message behind the movie. It gives a sort of enlightenment of society today, simultaneously, being funny.

This movie is incredible. I love that it manages to be funny while also keeping it's serious tone. It feels super natural and I love the spoken word/rap scenes.

Quite possibly the most underrated movie of 2018. It was one of my favorites and is super unique and funny while still delving into serious social issues.

I don’t wanna spoil too much about this if you wanna watch it but this movie is extremely good and feels very original. Def check it.

Not a big fan of comedies and was, even after good reviews, not expecting to like it. After about a half an hour, it's nolonger a comedy and becomes an interesting film.

A powerful film backed by two excellent leads who also wrote the amazing screenplay, this is a must see.

Love how they showcase the city of OAKLAND. Love the Micro Vs Macro subject matter.

The trailer for this caught my interest immediately and the film didn’t disappoint. Real topic with raw emotion and humor without preaching
