great price for a great movie. anything leonardo dicaprio does is gold to me, but regardless of my opinion this movie has a a lot of suspense and action and really keeps you on the edge of your seat. i would highly recommend this movie for someone looking for a great movie night out. some violence and may not be suitable for children.

One of my all time favorite movies. Leo stands out as does Jennifer Connelly and Djimon Hounsou. Yet another though in which Leo was nominated for an academy award but snubbed. When will Leo's great acting be recognized by the academy. If you haven't seen his performance in this movie, do yourself a favor & watch it!

I am not an outright fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but he does well here, and I even bought his accent. I've liked Djimon since Gladiator and he's perfect for his part. It's got good suspense and isn't entirely predictable, which is better than 90% of movies these days. A strong effort overall.

With Leo DiCaprio heading the cast , you know it's going to be a great film. The plot surrounds the real life drama of the African diamond industry. Local warfare , massacres , smuggling illegal stones , etc. Based on similar true life events , it's a lesson on the true cost of luxury.

I only picked this up because it was nominated for awards and it was on sale. The movie has a very real feel to it that draws the viewer into the lives of the main characters. Well worth the watch. 5 Academy Award Nominations

What is not to like. Jennifer Connelly and Leonardo have good chemistry. Not familiar with the other actor but the fisherman played his role out strongly and with conviction. After this movie definitely I'll check where my diamond's originate from, not that I'm frequently in the market for one.

Both men are African, but their histories as different as any can be, until their fates become joined in a common quest to recover a rare pink diamond that can transform their lives.

This movie is a wonderful drama. I really wasn't aware of blood diamonds until this movie and when you can make people aware with film, story, etc... it works. I enjoyed every minute of this film. I hope, that if you have a chance, watch this film, you will not be disappointed.

I wasn't aware of the Diamond issues in Africa until I saw this movie. This is a very powerful movie & Leonardo Di Caprio once again shows why he's Oscar material, the supporting actors were all superb. A must see movie.

You can feel the love Decaprio has for Connelly in this drama set in Africa, which also stars Djimon Housou. Mercenaries, Diamonds, Child soldiers and war set the tone for this action movie, a must see.

One my first HD movies I bought good movie seriously underrated

When DiCaprio is given a role he fully immerses himself! He is possibly one of the greatest actors of our time. His South African accent is top notch and quite believable. Very eye opening film.

Blood Diamond takes a real life look into the dark side of the world of African diamond mining. It's a gripping drama that draws you in and doesn't let you go throughout the movie. It is a story of survival that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's well worth watching, and watching again.

True story never ends are the best movies you can see and you won't be disappointed with this one second best after titanic of Leonardo !

The story of diamond extraction amongst guerilla warfare and child abductions. It's an action movie with a lot on its mind. Blood Diamond is crackling and pertinent storytelling.

Great movie with DiCaprio! This was an excellent and entertaining flick form just a few years ago, about the bold diamond business.

DeCaprio pulls this one off well. My wife and I were glued to the screen for the whole movie. Based on what really goes on in the diamond trade, it's a great film. Recommend.

Set in Africa, blood diamond shows the hardships of diamond mining in the hardships for some people living in Africa. Worth a look for sure. Happy Memorial Day.
