I bought this phone on sale because of the price and size. I wanted a phone that was unlocked and could be used in Europe. It needed to have a big enough screen to read books on it. I use it only with wifi and an very happy with it. I am surprised how easy it is to type on. The only negative is when I type in Romanian, it likes to correct the words for me- which leads to very strange mixed language sentences. But, even with this I see that it is gradually learning Romanian words. The camera is not as good as my digital camera, but is sufficient for most things. (Sample photo attached)

I hate the idea of paying $600 or $700 for a phone (and you DO pay for those so-called "free " phones, just $20 or $30 a month for years). This is a great alternative. Good camera, lots of memory, easy to use. Android without the hype. We have two of them in our family and after 6 months, so far, so good.

For a $200 phone, the problems I ran into surprised me very much. I have had cheaper android phones before and I can say without a doubt both were better than this one. First of all, this phone will not allow you to receive or send multimedia messages. This is very frustrating because whenever someone tries to send me a picture, I have to ask them to email it and I can't participate in group chats. It also doesn't let you download certain files. Some will download, some won't. I have had to email files to myself just to be able to view them. I have never had this problem with any other android, until now. The phone has a flashlight but for some reason no flashlight app. It lags a lot with YouTube videos. Apps will crash all the time when I open them and I've been on them for hardly a minute. The other day it wouldn't let me swipe to answer a phone call. One thing that I find very odd is that when I go to adjust the volume, the volume bar will not fade out and will stay there for a whole minute or will not disappear at all even if I lock and unlock the phone. I find that bizarre. I did not expect to have this many problems with it considering I bought it 4 months ago. However. the phone does have a very good camera and the WiFi hot spot feature is also nice. The display is great. But for me, the bad outweighs the good and it's not worth wasting your money on. You could probably buy a better phone for less or just invest the extra cash and get something more durable. This is a purchase that you will regret.

Very disappointed with this phone, brought the phone back. Phone would call phone numbers by itself and when you messaged a contact the phone took over and repeated characters numerous times so that you could not text and had to start over, this is just a few of the quirks. Bad processor could not handle simple tasks.

I bought this phone for my wife just before Christmas, don't have a USA carrier SIM, use a UK SIM for texting ( better Pay as you Go rates compared to USA carriers - credit never expires). For data she uses WiFi. It had KitKat installed, however about a week ago it updated to Lollipop. The display/functions are excellent, now my wife does not use her PC or Tablet, just this phone. Travelling around the phone always shows either a strong AT&T or T-Mobile signal. Unlocked GSM phones now offer a more cost effective solution to Verizon CDMA.

Good smartphone for the price. Big screen is a bonus when it comes to browsing websites, watching videos, and reading documents -- but of course it's bulky, too big to fit in your pocket.

Great phone, especially for the price. We got it for Metro, and the internet had some "special settings" they needed to adjust to work, since it was an unlocked phone. Took several hours to figure that part out, been flawless since.

This phone was a replacement for my wife's Samsung g5, and she loved it, because she can do almost everything she did whit the other for a fraction of the price, the only down part is the battery life, that's why I gave it four stars.

I went to Best Buy to buy a different phone, but when I saw this one on sale for $150, I couldn't refuse. This phone has everything you'd want, including dual SIM card capability, and a large 5.5 screen, which makes it easier on my old eyes. Comes with a case, but I opted for a heavy duty one I found online, which makes it nearly indestructible with its Gorilla glass. WiFi works really well too, with better range than my previous phone.
