Got this phone as a secondary phone for work, my original intent was a Motorola unit for the same price but there were no available. So ended getting this one instead. Been looking at the Blu phones for a while and took a leap of faith. I started with Android with the Samsung Momentum and the HTC EVO, move to iPhone (no regrets there) and well when this time come I wanted a simple phone for work. This unit fits the bill. cameras are okay with good light and both front and back have a flash (I can't thing of any phone with a build in flash on the front as most of them use the display for that). One cool feature is the face recognition, Yes a $100 phone with that feature. And it seems to work as it should, Is not the iPhone one that projects dots on your face but it will not work if light is wrong. So far the unit works as promised, I am using one of the dual sim ports with Mint Mobile (runs on T-Mobile) and the signal has been good, heck even when using Android Auto (this feature sucks compared to CarPlay from Apple, but that is on Google). The phone call quality was far superior, Maybe has to do with T-Mobile service in the area, will see when I get my AT&T sim to my actual line. The fact that the phone includes a cover and a glass screen protector as pluses. and the Twilight cover is really good looking. but the rubber case and the plastic feel is a bit disappointing (but hey is a $100 phone). The Screen for a 720X1440 screen is not bad. and looks actually good. Not perfect but good.

I bought it for my twelve year old son as his first phone. So far, so good and I dont have to worry about it getting broken or lost because of the price. It comes with a cover and a girilla glass.

Bought this to replace a Samsung S6 edge that broke. Nice size, not too tall, just wide enough to fit comfortable in hand. Interface not as full featured as Galaxy but adequate. Comes with a good screen protector and clear fitted rubber wrap case. Dual sims. Plenty of memory and accepts micro SD cards as well. Only complaint is that the overall speaker volume is low even at high settings and speaker is on the back of the phone so it is hard to hear. But for Under $80.00 it is a good basic features device.

Comes with case and free plastic screen protector. Oh geez.. this smart phone has the essentials and a little extra. Too good to be true? For the price and value it was a great phone but I had to return mine because I got a defective phone. I did not exchange it but just got something a little more pricier. Would I still consider it? Yes. But, quality control is not the best at these low prices.

I was looking for an inexpensive phone for my grams to transition from a flip phone to an smart phone. So, far the transition has been seamless and it's perfect for the price point. I like that they provide a case and screen cover.

I was previously using a Moto G6 and before that a Samsung S8+. So I have plenty of experience with high-end phones. However, I've been questioning of late whether I'm really getting anything for all that money. I accidently broke my G6 last week and had to get another phone, and I decided to do an experiment and see if an $89 (unlocked) phone would work for me. I looked at the V7 and V9, but decided to really do the experiment right and get the cheapest one-- the V5. I've been using this Blu V5 full time for a week now and have concluded that I really can't tell the difference between this phone and my old expensive ones. Seriously. And I'm a heavy phone user as far as data, apps, etc. I rarely turn on a computer at home and do everything (shopping, banking, read the news, etc.) on my phone. So I think I've really put this phone to the test. I even use the Microsoft Launcher app-- which is a little resource heavy. But the V5 handles it just fine. I am totally blown away that a phone this cheap can work so well. The only downside for me is the speaker. I listen to a lot of podcasts on my phone and the V5 is absolutely the worst I've ever had. Really tinny and it won't go very loud. Other than that, I can tell you that I'm sold-- I'll likely never spend over $100 for a smartphone again. I've already recommended it to several people.

Great phone for the price and don't have to recharge much, but the volume control is pitiful to say the least -- it goes to extremes of barely audible to deafening with no in-between. Also, BLU offers no support or accessories and refers you to Amazon.com where you can't find anything for this model.

In fairness, bought this as a secondary phone to support a client's requirement for email and messaging without using personal phone. For the price, the phone has more features than expected and is actually better than needed. Only thing is it is a little slow but at this price point, not unreasonable.

I broke my phone and needed another one. I had a small budget, but wanted something that was half was decent, better than my last. I came across this phone, read all about it and decided to purchase it. I like it, but am not in love with it. I don't care for the volume. When it's on speaker, it's on full volume and not very loud. The speed is not what I expected, a little slow. Other than that, it does everything I need.

I liked how it came with a screen protector and a phone case. Battery seems to last longer than other phones I've had. Easy access with face recognition. What I don't like is how the volume moves in segments and doesn't allow for good control of it. It gets too loud or the opposite. It doesn't come with choices in ring tones. It takes getting used to its design. The price is adequate for what you get.

Runs really well given the price. Google maps, youtube picture-in-picture while browsing other apps, games like CoD and Fortnite on low graphics settings. All run pretty smoothly. Battery life is good, not incredible. My only issue with this phone, and it's a big one, is the WiFi and bluetooth antennas are garbage. No 5ghz wifi available, and on 2.4ghz I lose connection whenever a wall or small object is blocking my phone from the router. I have a tiny Brooklyn apartment and can't get more than 25ft from my router yet it disconnects, none of my other devices do this. 4G LTE works great though, much more stable than wifi. Unfortunately my plan does not have unlimited data. Bluetooth also disconnects unless the phone is within about 5 feet of you (basically in your pocket). Bluetooth also stutters or loses connection if you get close to another bluetooth device such as a laptop or my Nintendo Switch controllers. Would still recommend as a cheap backup phone, or a phone for someone who does not use wifi or bluetooth much.

Could do better with camera and speaker. Camera is very grainy and cheap and you can't hear the sound from speaker clearly. But on plus side you'll get a dual SIM capability. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
