BLU is rather new to me. Not sure who makes this nor where it originated from, but she a good phone. The price point is excellent in relation to how this V50 operates. Some glitches tho, that I really blame on the updates, as they happened after one large one come. Many of these were fixed in settings. GPU for instance, was set to high after the update causing freezing.. lag.. almost shot it like a hockey puck when I first found out. Stability is the only issue. A SD Card is a must for this. She seems picky on the type SD. I put in some off brand 32Gb and didn't like it. Then a Sansdisk 32 that she was more content with. If this phone is first gen.. I understand. Anything still in trial is going to be.. well.. this. If not then BLU needs to really think about their product line in relation to what Android gives it, much more the custom UI it has. There is no bloatware. Another plus. I gave it 4 stars for the price point, and what comes in the box: A really good hard case, and the charging stuff. Really good quality items there. The phone has ups and downs. Android likes to be restarted every so often, and that seems to work here. It is the same size of an S20. Specs are a little different, but not much, from processor speed to camera (Only one in the BLU, tho.) Both have a fingerprint sensor. BLU copied Motorola for theirs, as Samsung has it on their screen. If you want cheap, but quality cheap, this is it. I have the lower end. V70 and others have better guts, and the price doesn't get too crazy. Spend a thousand on a name, or couple hundred on same tech, without a sticker of some high end company. Pictures don't really do it justice. BB, y'all need to work on keeping aspects in your photo arrangement.

System UI is not responding, this pop up has happened last week. Maps acts up. I need the phone for my job. And it is completely unreliable. I will have to take it back

This phone isn't going to win any rewards but I can say it's been a good to me for the days that come by. I normally don't use smartphones for heavy uses but it does it job well for basic use like calling, texting, light apps/games, pictures and so on. Pros: -Comes with a case and a screen protector out of the box! -Screen is vibrant and colorful, angles to view are decent. -Battery life is fairly long for light applications (YouTube, Camera etc) charging to full takes a few hours from low battery to full. -Sound quality is good for internal speakers -Camera is ok for taking pictures indoors and outdoors Cons: -Performance is average for going though apps, multitasking etc. -Calling quality is subpar, even when the HQ setting for wifi/4G network. -Limited 2GB ram that might test your patience. Overall this isn't a bad phone, just not a good one either... More in the middle for basic needs which is awesome for me! Anything else that requires heavy tasks for the CPU/GPU/Ram is out of the realm for this phone. As being a $100+ smartphone it's good! And I love the blue fade to black gloss finish on the back of the phone, looks a bit distinctive than fully black which is boring.

Sturdy, functional phone. Decent sized screen, but not overly bulky. I tested the battery life by running some game,email,virus protection, and internet aps,so very continuous use,and got just over 7 hours. It also uses USB-C,so it charges pretty quickly. I also like that it comes with a sturdy case and screen protector.

For the price you can't beat it. Good battery life. I like the BLU UI or whatever it is called that sits on top of android. Comes with a rugged case and screen protector. Wish it was faster but for the price you can't have everything.

Overpriced. Slow. Need to restart often when stuck in all white screen. Battery life seems to be ok.

Love the product and the price of this phone for my daughter. Unfortunately she dropped it and it broke. We are now looking for another phone....parents understand the need for a good, quality phone that’s relatively inexpensive.

If you want a 4g phone that has a great battery life, has a bright colorful screen and works just as good as a 500 dollar phone for less than 200 dollars here you go. People think it isn't any good because it is cheap and they are wrong. Except for the people who can't read that it doesn't work on all networks.

its a good choice of phone not expensive nor cheap for a spare phone. what i like bout it is on its package you will get a screen protector and a good phone case for protection.

Cute little phone. Bought it for my 90 yo mom. The only reason for not giving it 5 star is that it doesn't work with ATT voice, I wish someone at the store knew that. At least my carrier uses also T Mobile sim cards and T Mobile works perfect with the phone.

Not good. Not even for a basic phone, no storage, slow, out dated

Tis phone is unlocked and is a phone I plan to use when on vacation in Africa. Easy to use, I will connect the phone to an internet provider and voila I am in business.

Bought this as an alternative for when traveling still working well till this day I appreciate how affordable and easy to use it was

Bought this for my son he came to visit me from another state ridding the bus. His phone broke so I purchased this phone for him. Great value for the purchase. It is still working.

Good phone for the price. Not as smooth as more expensive Samsungs, but for the price is good.

Excellent phone, battery until 24 hours nice features and easy to use. This is amazing phone in a cheap price.

Bought for my parents and they were beyond happy to go from a 8M phone to this one. I set them up with ease being unlocked and surprisingly the box was filled with a screen protector and phone case as I may have misread that but I was beyond surprised as all phones should be set like that in my opinion. Great investment!

Not compatible with Net10 - they won’t register it. This is likely because Verizon now owns Net10, TracFone, StraightTalk, etc., and will be moving GSM cell users to Verizon’s network sometime in the near future. Seemed like a smooth working cell for the short time I used it. I bought it as a back up cell for my Samsung Galaxy S22.
