Look good but feel cheap on the back plastic cover

this is not a bad phone, it's light and it does the job but it really lack the sensors to make it useful. I originally bought this phone so I can use it as part of the google cardboard, but because it lacks the gyroscope, it can't be used.

I keep finding little features that I never found in my iPhone. The battery lasts depending on how you use the phone. You get a screen protector and case with the phone. The camera is awesome.

Good phone for the price. Had trouble with first one, it wouldn't turn on. Bought again when it came back in stock and seems to have some great functions for unlocked phone

This guy is one fantastic phone. Great specs at a greater price. Photos are amazing. They look way better than the ones taken with my iPhone 6! Yes believe it. Lots of storage space and with an SD card, you're good to go!

The Blu Vivo XL is an amazing phone for the price. I bought it during the introductory weekend for $99, but it is still a value at $150. My girlfriend recently had a dead iphone due to water damage, so I bought the Vivo XL to give it a shot. In the end she ended up with a new iphone, but I figured what the heck, let me give it a try for $99. I have been using the S6 Active which by the numbers is a better phone than the Vivo XL, but in side to side comparison for launching apps, I found the Vivo XL to be significantly quicker. Launching apps like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Waze are a breeze. I also found that apps stay in memory longer, so if you open a few apps, no worries about losing your place. The screen resolution is lower, but the AMOLED brightness is up there with Samsung panels. I don't seem to mind the lower resolution so far. If it equals better battery life, I don't mind. Some text is a bit fuzzier than the quad HD screen of the S6 Active I have, but really it isn’t that different unless you are pixel peeping. Video from Netflix, Amazon, and Youtube look about the same. I imagine if I play a Quad HD source from Youtube, I will be able to tell the difference, but that is not something I do on a regular basis. Having the removable battery and Micro SD card is great. I wish Samsung hadn't gotten rid of the SD card in the S6 line. 16GB of storage is plenty given the SD card. I figure when Blu gets to Marshmallow, the unified storage architecture will make the 16 GB a moot point. There are a few odd things with the phone such as dialogs saying "Cancel/Determine" instead of "Cancel/OK". Other wordings are weird, but it never is a problem figuring out what to do. The control panel swipe up at the bottom is actually useful. I don't mind it there. Apple has copied from Android with the notification shade, so I don't have a problem with an Android manufacturer copying from Apple. It does act a bit wonkey if you use gestures in your launcher such as Nova. I did notice a problem with the security settings. You can only set the automatic lock time if you use the basic swipe lock. If you set patter or password it locks at "Immediately after sleep". Kind of annoying. Also there is no NFC or fingerprint reader. Volume on the speaker and the headphones are great. The included headphones are very nice too. The headphones have a mic and a button that let you pause and play music with a quick press, a long press brings up Ok Google. Speaking of OK google, the microphone pickup is great. I find that as long as the screen is on, the Vivo XL does an amazing job of recognizing i said "OK google". Much better than the S6 Active and better than a Nexus 6p I played with. I doesn't work with the screen off though. I usually keep the screen on the in car with the phone mounted in a dock. Found that the voice is super responsive and accurate in the car, even with the radio on. I have only played around the with camera. So far so good. It doesn’t seem great a low light, but it gets by. The camera modes are ok. HDR didn’t seem to do much. The selective focus mode works very well. There is a nice built in level. I haven’t seen that in any other smartphone, it is actually better than I’ve seen on some cameras. Time will tell with the photos, but I don’t expect them to be as good as with the S6 Active. I do like the “Screen off” gestures. If this mode is turned on, when the screen is off, you can draw a ‘C’ to launch the camera. Pretty much as good as the double tap on the S6. Plus you can do a lot more with the off screen gestures. Nice feature. So the phone has some quirks, but overall very solid for the price. I would say it feels like it is worth at least twice the price if not more. Given that is costs the same as a replacement does for most phones even under warranty, buying the Blu Vivo XL is a no brainer. Even though I don’t need it, it will be my daily driver for a while. New toys are fun, and new toys that are a great value are even more fun.

The camera on the Blu vivo is great. I use it to take pictures for work. I had some problems with the sound after a week. Tech support at Blu was great they told me how to fix the problem. I have had the phone for two months and use it regularly.

The phone is good quality and very sturdy although it is light weight.

This is actually the second Blu Vivo XL that I bought, this one is for my wife. These run excellent on T-Mobile network. Nice big screen to use Binge On video streaming. Has tons of good features, comes with NextRadio. A huge leap from my Iphone 5. Picture quality is excellent.

I had iPhones from 1to 4s, then Samsung from Notes 2 to 4. All of them good .Now I Have Blue Vivo XL and Vivo 5, and I'm very happy with them. I think they are best what I bought from all my phones.

I purchased this phone when it was initially launched and on sale. I needed a phone to hold me over until I can decided on my next phone. I used it for about 2-3 months and it was surprisingly good for the price.

Bought this phone for my mother-in-law and she loves it. The dual SIM card is great for her when she travel internationally.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because some pictures taking come out distorted. The phone has excellent battery life I usually get a full day and a half out of battery. I would purchase this product again

My wife loves the phone. The Speed is great. It does everything she needs it to. I would recommend it.
