This is a must for the blue yeti mics. The mics tend to pick up any bumps and vibrations as the gain is sensitive on the mics. This product will help reduce unwanted noises originating from your desk vibrations. Installation was easy. Cons: Price point, for $49.99 seems a bit costly for this gadget as you can find alternatives at a lower price. I decided to stick to this as it’s made by Blue! and quality is what I am looking for. Audio setup is usually not a place to cheap out.

Usually being on the capturing side of the microphone, I don't have an incredible amount of insight on the performance, but from feedback from others and listening to recordings of myself, it does seem like this helps dampen some light shock from my desk. It will not be able to dampen very forceful banging or shaking, but I don't think it would be fair to expect that. Works great with the Blue Yeti X microphone.

This thing works great with a desk clamp boom arm. The is one catch. When you tighten the mic to the holder it will seem loose after you've tighten the screw all the way. Take an open end crescent wrench, adjust it snug & tighten more. Then it will hold without spinning around freely. This on a boom arm eliminated desk noise on the mic. When I bump the desk or move something it would catch it. Increased the quality of my show.

Great shock mount for any condenser microphone that is standard.

Shock mount works pretty good for Large Yeti Microphone my son uses for streaming/gaming. He says it works well.

Paired with Yeti Blackout & Compass Stand: Can't recommend as this enough for those looking to take their audio quality to the next level. The Yeti Blackout sounded great, but you can eliminate nearly all vibrations of hitting your desk if paired with this shock mount and the Compass stand. The tension is adjustable, and it's incredibly easy to set up. With all three components, you'll have a VERY high quality sound without paying too much.

This was the counter weight I needed in order to keep my mic stand stable. I love it!

Solid construction does the job well. Holds the weight of Yeti with no issues.

It does its job, I haven't really used anything like this before so I don't have a frame of reference, but I found it easily adjustable and it was just what I needed to arrange my mic during streams and podcasts without making a ruckus. It won't make it silent but it will make it much less obtrusive

Friends said to get this as a shock mount, and I did. i didn't notice that much but it def made my friends a lot happier when we chat.

Perfect addition to the Yeti Blue arm mic stand. Definitely helps and looks clean too!
