A: Hello kylep, You most certainly can use the Radius III Shock Mount on any mic stand. It is compatible with standard microphone stands and also works with virtually any microphone or mic clip that has a standard thread mount. - Richard from Logitech
Q: does this fit the quad cast s microphone?
A: No, it will not; the blue mic boom has threading that fits blue yeti and yeti pro mics. From my knowledge, there is no way to mount the quad cast s microphone as it does not have threading on it to fit.
Q: Douse the stand and shock mount work for the blue yeti nano? If not is there an adapter?
A: I don't think so; I am pretty sure it will only work with the yeti, yeti X, and Yeti Pro.
A: Hello, 4to25characters! The connection on the Radius to the microphone and to a boom arm is 5/8". - Maggie from Blue
Q: How far can the microphone pickup a normal voice?
A: Blue Yeti is a condenser microphone, so it can hear just about any normal voice in any normal room. That being said, you will get significantly better audio the closer you can get the mic to your subject, with the levels adjusted properly. If you use all of the gain of the mic you could run into more unwanted noise potentially. Yeti has four pickup patterns so you can adjust it to your needs: https://s3.amazonaws.com/cd.bluemic.com/pdf/manuals/yeti/Blue_Yeti_QuickStartGuide-EN.pdf - Thanks!
