Bought this on the recommendation of friends in the music world to record personal performance. This mic allows for realistic, undistorted sound of musical instruments, much better than built-in mics on phones or laptops. Just plug it in with the included USB cord (which oddly is not mentioned on-line) and select it in the Sound Preferences. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I bought this for my wife to use in producing a podcast for work. The sound quality is really good, and she found it fairly simple to use.

I needed a microphone to create a webcast so I did what most people do, I researched and read reviews. I came across this little Martian-like looking shiny black ball and decided to purchase. The sound is amazing, but be careful because the Mic picks up everything! It is plug-n-play usb connected. Used with Camtasia Studio program and created an awesome webcast! All my friends want to borrow it but I told them to buy their own!

The Snowball microphone looks great and sounds even better. My son is studying theatre and he is using this mike to record himself while he is working at school remotely. We like the style. It was kind of difficult to find this blue snowball microphone but it was worth the search and a better option than the blue-ice model, for us anyway!

It came out of the box, I plugged it in and it worked on any laptop I used it with. It is great during this time of having to work from home or homeschooling during the summer. It can be used to capture what one of use will say during a work meeting or by several, including our kids, who are talking to their friends during summer camp schooling.

the sound quality on this is excellent for the price. it holds its own with mics that cost double.

Our club has been meeting via Zoom. Now we are meeting in a hybrid setting. We needed an omnidirectional microphone and from other reviews, the Blue Snowball met our requirements with cost and performance. Our experience so far has been positive. Our in-person audience is able to communicate with our Zoom audience with clarity. The Snowball was very easy to setup. Just use the USB connection and the microphone is recognized by the computer as an audio device. The unit is very to use with the audio controls that are provided in Windows.

Quality is a top tear, the clarity is great and was easy as plug and play.
