I have used this for online / hybrid classes where some students are in the room and others online. Certainly limited reception of those in back of the room (20 ft away) but FAR better than the built in mic on my computers. Also used for team meetings - huge improvement!

Used it mainly for Zoom meetings. There is a significant improvement over a two-year old lapel style mic. No complaints and no issues, it does what it supposed to do.

Hands down one of the most well rounded mics ive used to date. It gets the job done and you soundsl very good while doing it

Clean sound and super cheap for what it is, love it.

You have to set up a space in your house like a studio or sound booth and then approach it like a recording session. Finding the right switch placement and where to place the mic takes patience. I record voice and guitar at the same time for a live feel and use NCH software and have been pretty pleased with the results.

Truly plug and play. Instructions a bit lacking but product works fine. Multiple heights with included stand helps with placement.

I’ve used a Yeti snowball for 4 years now. I’ve made studio quality music with this. It takes some getting used to, to hone in your sound through the different softwares but once you do this mic is amazing. I bought this without ANY prior music experience and I picked it up pretty quick

The Blue Snowball Mic has good sound, just enough settings to be useful, and a nice tripod stand. Being a condenser mic, it will pick up all sound around you, unlike a dynamic mic, so it may not be suitable for streaming, as you hitting the keys will easily be heard. I do use it for streaming board games though, as it picks up near and far sounds easily, and has a wide cardioid pattern. For the price, it's hard to beat.

The microphone works very well. We did not have to sit close to the laptop to be heard. During a one hour psychiatric screening of my 99 year old mother who was speaking softly, we were never asked to repeat anything, and the doctor's voice was very clear.

This is my third Blue snowball. I highly recommend the mic for podcasts, voice over audio (which is why I’ve been using them for over a decade), and now, online meetings for the clearest voice on the call! It’s a USB plug and play so anyone can use it.

Needed a microphone for my Zoom meetings. I use it without the tripod and set it in a small tray to the side of my iMac and plug directly into the USB port. There is no longer any problem with participants hearing my voice. Quite cool looking too.

This microphone works as good as I hoped and looks awesome while doing it. I like the fact that it has three settings (voice, music, environmental) depending on the purpose. I have only need it for environmental and it is able to pick up and clearly transmit voices in a large, echo-filled area.

I used to just use my phone or headphones as my microphone, but this is so much better. Greater starter mic for anyone getting into streaming, youtube videos, or singing, or really anything. I use it when playing video games to chat with friends and they have all said the quality is incredible.

My son uses it during his online classes. The sound on his computer is sketchy and he says this helps out a lot. We initially bought it for a small group production, but we didn't need it. Worked great for my son's classes, so we kept it.

I write a fun, sassy lifestyle blog called happy, healthy and hot. Recently I have been asked to appear on some podcasts. The first time I just used the mic on my laptop, and sound quality was not good. I invested in this mic for my next interview. Huge improvement and easy for a beginner like me!
