Amazing pictures and quality yess I would recommend it

Spectacular 4K viedo, beautiful done & narrated!! If you want an outstanding 4K video then Blue Planet II 4K UHD is the one that will compliment any 4K system. It will impress your friends when they are thinking about updating to the 4K era. An all around excellent documentary for the entire family. This 4 disc set, Steel Book (disc 4 BONUS FEATURE ONLY IN BLU-RAY) (discs 1,2,3, are 4K format) is a very nice collection to have. A pretty good deal for the sale price going on right now! My only draw back is, I which it would have come with a plastic sleeve to protect the beatiful Steel Book.

This is a great collection for anyone with a 4K setup. I jave a LG OLED tv and a Panasonic UB820 player, and the quality is amazing. I do feel the Oceans: Our Blue Planet 4K Blu Ray is more impressive picture wise, but this set is awesome as well and informative. I am not thrilled I ordered the Steelbook version in October for $58.99 only to see it drop to $10.99 a month later with no Price match options because it was a Black Friday deal. But other then that, I am happy with the purchase.

A must-own for any fan of animals, the planet, nature, and just gorgeous filming in general! Even if you need something on in the background while people are over, this is something you could just have on to look amazing. To add to that, the steelbook is outstanding and adorable. The artwork wraps around the top and bottom, and even a detail like that is appreciated. A true must own!

If there was ever 1 4K HDR Ultra Blu Ray to show off it’s this one. Absolutely stunning and gorgeous. Not to mention educational. I’m in awe and the sheer quality of the visuals. The narrator is a treasure to listen to as he guides us on a spectacular adventure of the seas most wonderful creatures. This 6 episode documentary should be seen any anyone and everyone.

Most of the time, this steelbook goes for a ridiculous price tag (maybe because it's sold out or being sold by scalpers, not sure), so when I saw it going for less than 20, I jumped at the chance. The 4K content looks superb, and the audio (the spatial nature of it) is excellent. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

It's a visual feast, it's a cinematic feat, it's a surreal barrage of images so familiar and so alien that you'll oscillate constantly between vocalizing amazement and disbelief to yourself or to your fellow watchers as they do exactly the same thing. It's the crown jewel of your collection and you need it in your life. Get you some.

For the most part, Blue Planet II is reference material with a special message rarely stated in BBC Nature documentaries: man is destroying the planet at a rapid pace and researchers and their own filmmakers are finding the evidence that illustrates this plainly. For one, plastic is poisoning the oceans at an alarming rate.

Owning a 4k tv for a while and finally making the upgrade to getting a 4k player and buying this movie was a great decision. The color, resolution were spectacular and I couldn't ask for anything more. The content of the movie was well worth it especially the quality of the shots under the sea.

After purchasing Planet Earth II in 4K, I knew that Blue Planet II was a must. As anticipated, the videography on this 4K presentation is stunning, the colors are breath-taking and David Attenborough's narration is amazing as usual. This movie is a must have for any fan of BBC documentaries.

This product was excellent in every way. I purchased the exclusive steelbook version which is a beautiful steelbook. If you are familiar with and enjoy the planet earth/plue planet series then you will not be disappointed with this one. Every episode was as beautiful as the last on my 4K TV.

This disc does not disappoint. The blues are so crystal clear in my TCL QLED TV. I had seen it on Netflix before but that doesn’t compare to this 4k disc. If you entertain and want to show your guests the power of tour 4k tv, then get this Steelbook.

I’ve not viewed on my home theater a more realistic film than Blue Planet II which has now become my 4K benchmark reference standard amongst my growing library of 4K titles. Best Buy’s SteelBook editions are my preferred cases because they are more durable than the usual flimsy plastic.

Superbly made nature documentaries are not always available 'on demand' from TV is one of the main reasons I purchased this set. This set was in 4K format and very much belongs in any library for the grandchildren as well as my own pleasure viewing. Exceptionally well crafted.

I love watching Richard Attenborough's earth series. The 4K blu-ray came free with my $100 samsung blu-ray player and it's amazing. The picture is amazing and if you Dolby Atmos then you'd love the surround sound effect in conjunction with the image quality. Buy it now if you can.

I am a big fan of Planet Earth and Blue planet series - This is highly recommended not only for nature lovers but everybody who is willing to learn more about this beautiful planet through stunning videos - Also throws an insight about how we are disrupting the ocean's ecology

Blue Planet 2 is an excellent documentary. It looks amazing in 4k. The animal life of the ocean is very informative. Different species and ecosystems are interesting. If you want to know about the oceans and life in oceans get this movie.
