This film comes with 3 discs and they are amazing. They show you so much beautiful things and I love everything that has to do with the Sea so I loved it. Great part of series collections! Very informative and great for all ages!

I got this Blu-ray for my kids to watch as an alternative to all the junk out there. Very beautiful visuals with great narration. Unfortunately, the oceans will be a lot worse when my kids are grown up.

I still remember the first time I saw Blue Planet on TV. This HD version makes me feel the way I did watching it for the first time.

Please watch these bbc earth films. Let your kids watch. These are the best films for the entire family, nature always entertains

We love the documentaries from BBC and have owned most of them. This one is not bad (although not the best one) but still worth owning

This documentary was made before Planet Earth. This documentary shows you how much of life there is in the sea but yet many mysteries. When the documentary was first broadcasted it was way before 4K tv's and HD blu rays. So some visuals may not be that stunning but it's a pretty decent up-conversion, it's okay visual quality at most. The documentary offers hours of insights of the sea, Almost 6 and a half hours. I have always been quite interested in marine life so this was a must have for me

I love these planet series of Blu-ray Discs! If you love the ocean and marine life then these videos are right up your alley. My family and I love to watch these before bed as a nice calming wrap up to our day. I definitely recommend buying these but only in Blu-ray. I'm a fanatic about high def and these videos really show the beauty of the sea when filmed in 1080p.

The cinematography in this series is superb. The mystery and majesty of the oceans is delightfully captured on film for us to enjoy. A great educational experience for kids and adults. David Attenborough's calm and soothing voice is like sleeping pills if watched close to bedtime, which I think is a huge benefit also.

It suffers from lower definition sources here and there, but for such an amazing series you cannot go wrong! The 3rd disc contains four other specials not related to the original Blue Planet, but they're very informative on the current state of fisheries, the Amazon River, and fun for wildlife guide enthusiasts.

To be honest, I only bought this to "test drive" my new Ultra HD television. The cinematography is simply breathtaking. And the narration is quite entertaining and educational. If you want to learn a thing or two about our planet, or you want to see just how awesome your television is, this is the way to find out.

I love all the BBC nature series, and have particularly enjoyed Blue Planet. But since it isn't on TV very often even On-Demand I decided to get it on video. And getting it on Blu-Ray was the best decision. Love the video quality, and certainly enjoy it without commercial interruptions.

What an amazing, unbelivable experience beyong imagination. A production like this makes us realize how fragile we are. The infinite ocean shows us how far we are for still understanding our comunication and understanding of other species.

Blue Planet was a great show that paved the way for Planet Earth. The BBC finally brought this to Blu-ray and I couldnt pass it up. This collection was ground breaking in its time and is a most own if you are a High Def documentary buff.

The Blue Planet combines some of the most amazing cinematography with top notch narration to create an engrossing and visually stunning documentary. My son and I can just sit and watch amazed at both the creatures we are learning about and the amazing videography.
