BlueSound is a Canadian manufacturer of ultra high end audio gear. famous for their award winnng streamers, BlueSound continues to innovate and release cutting edge audio products. I started with Node Nano & was hooked with 24 bit, 193 K pure audio. Next I added Pulse 2i for the kitchen / family room open area & the sound was awesome. But it needed bass "thump". So I ordered Pulse Sub+ Wireless Powered Subwoofer in White. That was the missing link!! I am an old sound guy, growing up with multiple Velodyne ULD 18 & REL 15" subs. The low frequencies of this Pulse Sub+ compare to those monsters! This is a very heavy, solid built enclosure that delivers!! This speaker has very high WAF (Wife Approvement Factor)! No separate amplifiers, no wires, so interconnect cables, no servo control cables! Just plug it in, connect to your Wi-Fi & ROCK!!!! The RC1 IR Remote by Bluesound is a must-have!! Press 1-10 to choose your favorite streaming audio & control the volume! The sound of Pulse 2i with Pulse Sub+ must be heard to be believed!! And my wife loves the clean, wireless look! This RC1 Remote is an absolute necessity!! It earns my (& my wife's) highest recommendation!

Bought this to pair with my BlueSound Node Icon. To be honest, it probably should have been included for $1199. I like it much better for quick adjustments versus using the app on my phone.

Handy remote for Powernode since you don't always have access to the Bluos controller app or the top of the Powernode screen. Buttons for presets, volume and power. Also dims the led on unit.

Expensive but an excellent remote. I purchased it to use with a Blue sound Node 2i. It simply works as described out of the box

The Bluesound app works great, but this remote is an excellent companion if you use your player(s) a lot. Mainly, quickly pause, resume, skip, repeat tracks, volume, mute. The presets are also powerful in allowing a one-click way to start a radio station, playlist, etc. 5 stars because I am glad they took the effort to make a custom remote for this product and give you the flexibility to set custom buttons in the app. You can assign the remote to a certain player if you have multiple devices in the same room...or you can take it from room to room and it will work with all of your players without any setup. I wish it used AAA batteries instead of 2, 2032 coin cells - and it is IR vs. RF (so you have to point it at the player) but otherwise I'm glad this exists and glad I bought it.
