I must admit the coffee definitely tastes better but at the end of the day I believe all I want is the caffeine. This Bodum just looks so good sitting on the kitchen counter. If I move back 100% to my K-cups I'm going to keep this Bodum out for decorative reasons. Cheers!

Great coffee

I then pour the french pressed coffee through this Pour Over Coffee Maker using a paper cone filter to filter out all of the remaining coffee grounds and oil. It makes a fantastic, smooth tasting cup of coffee.

Good starter for pour over
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The difference in preparing coffee by way of the pour over method is like night and day - verses automatic coffee maker. It's not for someone who is not ready to sit back and savor the moment of the extra effort put into make some really good tasting coffee - using this method, Imho.

Christmas Gift

It was by far the most desired gift in the group, and was selected over and over again by co-workers until the limit on steals was reached. Would buy again.

Solid Pour Over Coffee Maker

I have found that paper coffee filters work better than the provided reusable filter. Keeps the oils from the grounds from getting into your coffee.

It takes time to boil the water and pour over several times (Obviously). If you like the pour over method, this is a good one. It makes good tasting coffee.
